[Pokerbros] Discussion thread

At the request of KptBomba, I figured I would start a separate thread for people to discuss the new app Pokerbros as to not derail any other threads in this section. I guess people can ask questions about it and post their experiences here. So far, me and some of my network are seeing MUCH softer games than we are used to seeing in other places. I have been impressed with the lack of glitches with it being a new app. I have also been impressed with how quickly improvements have been implemented with updates. I believe it is set up with similar functions to other poker apps to make it easier for users to adapt to and it not to be such a task to learn the interface.

In my experience, Bros open unions are much safer than ClubGG ones. ClubGG I play only on private, can give you some hints on that. Dm open.

Minion doesn't allow you to view/tile all four tables from a single account simultaneously. Minion has a feature to automate the switching between tables in a single emulator, but to view X tables at the same time, you need X accounts (and X emulators.)

+1. And tbh, this can happen in any poker game.

In a tournament tonight, I noticed a short-stacked player disconnect and get the 2 minute delay. It worked for him twice, once on a hand he folded and then again on his last hand, where he came back at the last second and called. The tactic got him to the final table of the Midnight Madness, though he might have made it either way. I estimate that the stalling made him 100-200$. Anyways, I'm not trying to out the player (he had a Chinese nick that I could never recall). I'm wondering how he used the tactic. It seems like if I tried to do anything like that, Pokerbros would fold my hand. Perhaps he is on WIFI and unplugged his device? I did wind up eliminating the player, but he was playing solid hands (for the standards of that turbo tournament).

I'm an agent on pokerbros for years going back to the late teens when PP was the main site. I'm in it for the long haul, so I'm all about honesty and fast communication. Agent for Rounders in the biggest union, Diamond. The owners are pros at running it as a legit business. Cashouts never an issue. Hey I cannot find it anywhere. Do you know how Score is calculated in MTT events? I have Gold VIP, I won 2 tournaments in a row and some guy, who lost first in one of them, gain more points than me (btw, he is first in this event). From what I can see (this is the 4th day of the event) it is better to be aggressive and lost first to gain more points, but I am not sure how exactly this is calculated. PokerBROS hides how exactly points are calculate, but maybe you can help?

Hi Sirs, I have a problem with the Pokerbros club Little Giants, ID: 22714, Diamond union. Maybe someone can help and if not be warned about their business practices. My agent does not answer me for multiple weeks now. Regarding Little Giants have a withdrawel pending with that agent for 4k. And on top of that i still have a 3k chip balance at the Little giants club. I now tried to contact the club support via telegram and asked them for help to cash out my 3k chip balance directly. It seems to me that they tried their best to ignore me and deflect in order to not have to make the payout. They told me to contact my agent again and again even though I made it clear that he does not answer. Does anyone have an idea what to do in my situation in order to get an cashout from Little Giants or the diamond union?

PSA about Rec Room Union - this place is a completely unplayable circus. Union head Shahen Karimian (Daddy 47 screenname) spends all day and night observing running tables, and when one of his buddies gets stacked, within a few minutes the player that won gets booted from the table. I started playing in Rec Room at the end of December through my friend who is a super agent for a club in there (leaving the club name out for now because they've been supportive so far). I play small/mid stakes omaha from .5/1 up to 2/4 and had my account loaded 1500. First night there I lose about 800, no big deal. The next day I sit in a couple insanely loose 1/2 games and run hot while deepstacked at tables with a bunch tiltboxing whales and end up sitting with 1000bb + on two tables. I was playing 6c double board omaha and scooped a couple big hands by hitting quads vs nut boat and a gutshot straight flush vs A hi flush+top set. The players that got coolered start accusing me of cheating and run to Shah, who decides that these accusations are valid and boots me from the tables and requests pokerbros investigate me for botting/RTA. I assume the email he sent to pokerbros security accusing someone of using RTA for 6c double board is hung up and framed in their offices. I let this slide for a couple days because if you've spent enough time swimming in the sewer waters of app based online poker clubs, this type of neurotic sketchy behavior is a pretty common character trait amongst these people who call themselves "CEOs" even though theyve never even filed for a business license. My friend/agent was extremely pissed off about this whole situation and withdraws most of his funds successfully, and we never really hear back from this guy about his bogus pokerbros "investigation" and I'm still able to sit new tables in the union, so I convince my agent to load me back up. I'm mostly able to play peacefully until I win a big pot against a guy who has yellow text in the table chat, indicating they're a club owner/SA. Guys like Pokerpreach7 who throw huge tilty tantrums in chat if they lose an all in when the person behind snap rejects running it twice, and youll see other yellow text guys tilting off stack after stack and rebuying full, which basically says they're just being irresponsible degens with the chips in their club balance. These guys throw cheating accusations around all the time and threaten to pull their clubs out of the union if "something isnt done" so these sore losers who are absolutely terrible at poker are coddled to the extreme. I don't think they have a hard and fast rule about banning winners because there's regs I cross paths with elsewhere like ArmedAgent7 destroy these games. And tbh I'm probably not up more than 2-3k pre rb over a couple sporadic months so its not like I'm bleeding the ecosystem. I've been booted from tables I started that were 3-handed and I was stuck a few hundo, and the game would immediately break afterwards when the other 2 didnt want to play HU vs each other. So this galaxy brain business mogul Shah actively kills games that generate revenue for him/club owner/ super agents because his ego was bruised. tl;dr - lol rec room "union"

They paid the agent and he did not pay you. Poor agent choice. Its his first and main job is to guarantee for your bankroll. Most players fall trap to unrealistic rakeback promises or are greedy for ridiculous conditions and then end up in these spots scratching their heads. Not saying you are one of those people, just general observation.

There's a facebook group called Heroes and Villians for warning/helping players who got stiffed on the apps. Post about this in there, someone will most likely know a contact in Diamond Union to find a resolution. Not familiar with this club but if they went rogue then the Union would be responsible for stiffed players.

What's the best practice to get on waiting list? Is there anything that can automate it? I'm trying to up my volume but it's such a hassle to find open seat, especially when table breaks so often.

Ive been a 6 card plo reg for years on bros and have had some insane below ev stretches a few times now. Overall Im running close to 100 buy ins under ev its been this way for over a year now. Anyone else feel like this. I have alwqays laughed at people claiming online poker is rigged but pokerbros is the only site ive played that really makes me question that. It just feels off sometimes. I also am pretty sure i was colluded so many times in the 1/2 ante extreme games in paridse union. Even when I game select/play lower stakes and am confident my table is full of degen whales 50 percent vpip plus It still feels like im running massively under ev even tho im a big favorite in these games. Am I just running bottom 5% or can any other reg relate.

Bro Ive been hearing this way too much. I have around a 300k sample and it feels like the software wont let me win past a certain point. I have positve ROI but its just plateued for the past year +. Can you relate to absurd upswings where you just crush the game for a few weeks or month running really hot followed by a month or so of absurd bottom 5% downsings? This has happened to me for a year now causing the platuea. Ive never been more concerned with a poker sites software until now. Im genuinely starting to believe that pokerbros software is not fair and causes aburd unatural swings in either directions for everyone, whale or pro.

same, also play similar games. pretty much every other week is just some bankroll crushing downswing. a couple years ago i was crushing with no rakeback anywhere, nowadays if i wasnt playing with 55-65% most places i wouldnt be able to pay the bills. yes, the games aren't as soft as they were but they havent gotten that much tougher. im still sitting at tables with a bunch of 60 vpip donks and 90 vpip whales. online poker sucks nowadays.

Lol, I thought I was going insane. I have been playing BROS since the start and have over 750k hands on here. I have been a huge winner since the start, playing PLO4 5 and 6 up to 5/10 with shots at 10/20. Now in my last 165k hands, it has been absolute insanity. I am down heaps and running 80k below ev just at 2/4. I seem to lose every single all in or if we run twice and I am a huge fav I chop every time. Now games are obviously tougher than before, but it's also funny that every time I am in a game with a mega whale he stacks me over and over playing 100% vpip then gives my money away to some uber nit reg and game breaks. I also wish I could tell you how many pots I have lost where it's 4 or 5 bet pre and villian flats leaving like 18 dollars behind and flops me dead every single time. While typing this I just got it all in with 85% and chopped lol Oh and the one small club I was still winning in just banned me for winning too much. Lose infinite for months, win 20k get banned.

Maybe the bigger games? I play quite a bit of 5c10c 10c20c PLO6 on PanAmerican and don't see much collusion going on. **** play, yes, but rarely do I see cheating. Also if you didn't know, if you go into table settings and enable "badges" it shows who at the same table are in the same club (denoted by a similar colored "C" under their name.). So if you see 2 guys with the same color and see something going on, then it's possible. You can report that stuff (not like PB cares or will do anything.)

Ya. For omaha at micros on all the bigger bros unions seems fine to play. Rake really high tho like close to 20bb/100, but never feel like im playing bots/cheaters. I stopped playing nlhe on them years ago however.

In the bigger Union's it seems fair to play in my eyes too. If you do have a good deal, you can make a ton of money there for sure. Lot of degenerated Players around.

Personally i have never felt anything shady, solid sample 100-400 4 card (200 main game) in the bigger unions.

I would say Diamond games are the safest on the App world. Haven't had any problems there at all.

hey there - thanks for the heads up! i'll look into it. the main place for LHE would be ignition/bovada. it also runs occasionally on ACR Poker and occasionally on KingsClubPkr. for apps: I see people sitting hu sometimes on pokerbros, but I haven't seen any games running. I know of one or two smaller clubs that run like a 2/4 limit once a week kind of thing, but that's about it.

research them! -this could be talking to them, asking questions, and seeing if you get a good vibe and if things pass the smell test -asking to talk to some of the agent's current/past players -looking the agent up on 2+2/social media/internet -asking them to get vouches or references from some good-reputation poker peeps that you both know in common -ask in this thread (or somewhere else) for people to post any experiences with/feedback on the agent and there are probably some other ways i can't think of right now

Ask for references. But the best way to find a legit agent is find someone who is already respected in the poker community who works w/ agents, and work w/ the sites and agents they recommend.

Is it normal procedure for an agent to wait for a security report after hitting a BBJ on your table ? Over the last few years playing on Pokerbros, I won BBJ twice and was dealt a hand where others players hit it maybe 3-4 times over the last years and I had no problem withdrawing it. Now I am being told I must wait a couple of days for the security report. I am kinda confused tbh. I mean why, it's a BBJ... ? Because I used 5-6 different agents over the last years and always no problem for withdrawing after BBJ. But small agent size obv when hitting BBJ, only 2 agents and they never talked about security report and having to wait a couple of days for withdrawing. Is it normal procedure? Asking people here who knows about agent stuffs..

Definitely chat with the agent and see if you have a good vibe and gut feeling with them. There is plenty of trust needed to work with an agent and in apps And to be fair it does get broken if your gut is wrong or unluckiness, I guess it is the problem with the Internet and the fact that some agents work in countries where poker is illegal, so things can get weird if they are getting prosecuted or something. But if you find an agent that seems legit, build trust with them over time. And as mentioned don't play with what u can't loose. Both for gambling and handing mover to an agent

what do you guys suggest for playing on pokerbros using a mac? i have a couple players who keep getting error messages: "not compatible with apple silicon, "no macOS version," etc

Ive done a lot of business with BBB, although not recently but overall and hes about as legit as they come. Hes a mod on here which I doubt theyd let a scumbag be and if anyone had bad biz with him Im assuming theyd remove him haha

There was an agent who scammed many players a few years ago and there were mods here with over 30k posts defending him and deleting posts. Not talking about BBB btw, im just saying that being a mod here doesnt mean anything

yeah definitely research someone in as many ways as possible, so that you can be as confident as possible imo

It has been around quite a while. Decently sized club, probably in TOP 25 in Paradise Union. Do not have feedback of someone working with them, however.

I think the unions are tougher than ever. Private clubs are where it’s at. Not seeing the crazy bluff catches and hit and runs. At a private club it just has a more real feeling. People folding to my bluffs, tilting multiple bullets, people bluffing into my nuts etc. I probably just suck. But man it’s night and day when you’re playing actual players or actual rec players. The union either has cheaters/bots or pros that are just too good. I’ve had some good runs on the unions but for the most part im down on unions and up on private clubs. Think im done with unions other than the random mtt.

Unions got lot tougher when crypto bear market hit imho. Suddenly easy money was gone.

there are lots of different errors you could be encountering, so it's important to figure out which one! are things just hanging and not loading? are you getting a specific error message? does it start to load and then hang? etc i believe bluestacks 5.0 is the "lightest" of their versions and puts less strain on your machine, so switching to that could be useful

yeah, i've found this to be a pain as well. there are some emulators that work on mac, but some of them require you to be pretty tech-savvy. i've known some people w/macs who had success using nox. i have also heard about koplayer and mumu player, but have not tried either one myself. recommend you google something like 'best android emulator for mac' and check out some of the pages/threads that come up and see what you find!

They have security team for that but they can do much due to the non KYC nature of the app. I reported multiple time suspected colluding players( some that i was 99.9% sure it was the same player with 2 accounts on 1 table) and every time they came back saying they don't have enough proof to do anything. Even if they ban someone they can make news accounts using any vpn as they please. As for bots I heard they are some but I mostly play plo5 with vpip requirement so I highly doubt there's any in this game format. It is extremely easy to collude and if you get caught you don't have much of a downside so best advice I can give is to table select aggressively and never reg battle because there is a good chance you're getting colluded.
