They force installation of Geocomply to verify location on Windows. That's a big red flag. Even after installing the location app, I'm not able to take a seat. The table hangs "Finding a seat"
From reddit : GeoComply is spyware Since online-sportsbetting and casinos are allowed in some states, but not in others, sportsbooks/casinos have to make sure you are actually in a legal state. No problem with that, but you are required to install a software called geocomply which installs on your windows machine or phone (if needed) Now if this software only checked your location it wouldn't be a problem but it also checks for other software on your computer. You'd think it checks for ip altering software or location spoofing, but it checks for: If it's running in a VM or not If remote access software is installed (not in use, just installed mind you) Remote software on your phone If someone else is using the same device with the software installed (this is just everything I know for sure) So this software is basically an anti-cheat for sportsbooks/casinos but it collects data even when you aren't using the websites, obviously saves your usage-data if they know someone else is using the same device aswell. I'm not sure about privacy laws in the States, but this seems extremely intrusive just to check where you are located.

I'm not sure why I wasn't able to be seated yesterday. The geolocation software worked. The app just hung with a message like: "waiting for a seat" each time I attempted to sit at a cash table.
I would guess that you were waiting for a cash table or sit and go queue that didn't have 3+ players. Cash games require 3 players to start and SNGs fire on demand when three players are in the queue. If you are in the Cash Game lobby you can see the number of players and the number of tables and people waiting to the right of the stake level. If you are in the Sit and Go lobby there is a people icon on the bottom that gives a range of how many players are actively playing Sit and Gos at that stake level. If only they stayed they would have been able to launch in Connecticut as well. Really sucks to live here for online poker. The Draftkings product isn't great and I don't see them, Fanduel or Fanatics launching full poker platforms anytime soon.

Yeah I was thinking this as well about CT, but Sugarhouse was sports betting only (no online casino) so I’m not sure it would have happened either way. It sucks that we just have to wait for DraftKings or FanDuel. I think FanDuel owns PokerStars, so maybe that could happen.
We agree we could make "waiting for players" more apparent, and will work on communicating that better on tables. We're always looking at what games we can add into the mix. The biggest part of course is making sure we have the players to support it. I decided to deposit. Not much traffic unfortunately, but I guess that is expected. Took advantage of the match bonus but honestly for low-level grinders, good luck getting much of it before it expires (this is common at WSOP and PS too). Played two tourneys, won one and cashed the other. Small fields with overlay. They gave me two free SNG tickets but they are three-player super-turbo winner-take-all deals where the price varies. Could be up to $7,500 and they don't tell you what you're playing for until it ends, which is a different spin on things. I won them both but both were only the $10 minimum (I assume that's the minimum) which gives the casino a nice 33% rake if all players buy in. Pretty confident that happens much more often than any other amount. I generally don't like those crapshoot games so I probably would only play it again if I was really bored. Not much traffic at the medium levels. Omaha never seems to have anyone below $100 and for some reason NLHE gets a lot of tables at $20 and some at $100 but none at $50 which is of course my preference. They also seem to have only 6-max which I also don't love (I prefer 9-handed). Don't love the interface either but that may just be personal preference. The built-in HUD is kinda cool but the varying avatars means that you need to remember names if you want to get reads in multiple sessions. (I'm NYCNative if anyone cares). I do like that you can pick up cash at Rivers. I pick up winnings at Harrah's in Chester for WSOP but they have no poker room so it'll be nice to pick up winnings and then play cards. Ultimately I like WSOP better because there's more players at the games I want to play right now ($50 Omaha/$50 NLHE) there and their tournaments have more runners. Also I am am a Diamond player at Caesar's and playing WSOP helps me out in that regard. Ultimately I am still waiting for player pools to expand to other states before I get super excited about playing more than I do, which isn't a ton, but I am still leaning towards WSOP as the place I play more than the others. But it's early...

I hope this can gain traction as it goes live in more states. A regulated version of Ignition/Bovada in essence marketed correctly could really bring a lot of players to this new site.

I've noticed this a handful of times. However I just had a different glitch happen twice, where the turn came, and then when the river came, the turn card changed...
A word of warning to anyone playing on this site, they can and will turn off your access to the bonus store with no notice and no way to appeal. I have a bit over 70k points and I was waiting to get to a higher level so I could buy better bonuses, but after I got that level and checked the store yesterday it wasn't there. I had a 45 minute conversation with support where they basically told me over and over again "we decide who gets access to what rewards, and we can't tell you why you lost it or if or when you might get it back". Needless to say I immediately cashed out my roll and will not play here again unless this situation gets sorted out. Full disclosure I did redeem the free cruise reward recently so I think that may be why they shut me off, but they refuse to tell me. Also if they had told me up front that taking the cruise meant losing the bonus store (assuming that was the reason) I never would've taken the cruise reward. By my stats I've generated >$4k in rake for them since I started playing in November and I would often start tables anywhere from 100-500NL and 100-200PLO which is obviously incredibly valuable for a site with as little traffic as theirs has. tl;dr: spend your points the first chance you get so they can't screw you like they did to me.

All the rewards suck thru the store unless you can get to the highest tier which is impossible thru poker only (to access the highest poker bonus) I transfer all my points into rush rewards and use it on the slots at physical location and have come out ahead each of the past 8 months, whereas if I used it for the “poker bonus” I would have not. Food/drinks is also very good ev.

So basically, you have to get $25.00 dollars in rake before it gets release in $5.00 bonus per time.
Not a fan of how the seating algorithm isn’t random. If you leave the table with open seats and sit back in you always get put in the previous seat it should be absolutely random and it’s troubling that it’s obviously not.
So you want to constantly play musical chairs to get position on certain players? Seems like an awful idea.

I was put in the small blind/button but I didn't have any cards so I made the GTO move of folding. I just got around to getting the HH and I'm pretty sure this was the hand. Hey when do players receive their weekly leaderboard bonus? I ask chat support and they told me to email support. I email support and no answer. Beside that software works great.
It just shows up in your account a few days after the leaderboard for the week is done. I think you technically have to pay like 1 cent in rake to unlock it or something, but it's usually in there by the middle of the following week.

So I just got mine, they treat it as a bonus. Under the terms of the leader board: ORDER OF FUNDS USED FOR WAGERING Poker Bonus earned through this promotion will be subject to release conditions. For every $0.01 in rake, $2 of Poker Bonus will be cleared and added to your account balance for you to place wagers with or withdrawal.
Still nothing place second last two weeks. I got the two auto email about my bonus are in yet I look everywhere and nothing. Live chat support not helpful and email no reply. Wtf is going.

Once you reach level 7 withdraw is instant. Done Sunday night and get it next morning in my bank. Don't think there any bot or ROW playing since no one going to give out SS numbers/ID and also getting caught on a legit state sponsor site seem like jail possibility. Why risk that. Is there any plans on increasing the cap on the number of hands we can download? 1000 seems a little small. With 3 downloads that is only 3k hands a day. Holy hell this rake back system is confusing. Trying to make sense of it all, but it may take awhile. Seems like a good site though. The ease of software with the emotive avatars make it fun.
If xnbomb's 10,000 points for the $150 is the best deal or at least close to it then 10,000 / 150 = 66.6 points per dollar. I get 15 points for every dollar raked in bonus rewards. That is about 15/66.6 22.5 cents per dollar or 22.5% rake back. I was trying to figure out where this supposed amazing deal everyone is talking about with insane rakeback when I finally found the page that talks about boosts. (I forgot how I found it, but I did, and can't figure out how to navigate my way back to it). Fortunately I did find it though and this is the great thing about it all.
This means at each corresponding level you get x amount of rakeback: Lvl 0: 45.0% Lvl 1: 45.0% Lvl 2: 45.0% Lvl 3: 50.6% Lvl 4: 56.3% Lvl 5: 61.9% Lvl 6: 67.5% Lvl 7: 73.1% Lvl 8: 78.8% Lvl 9: 78.8% I found in Loyalty level overview under the terms and conditions the required points to reach the levels.
I may have gotten some of my calculations wrong, because I'm still trying to make sense of this rakeback system, but it seems pretty decent if I'm correct, especially if you put in the time to get the loyalty points. Just now discovered the rewards tab gives a breakdown on the 3 point systems being kept track of. Although they don't really mention the iRush rewards thingy so now I'm wondering if that is even a thing or you have to play during a certain time period. I was going into posting this as being a guide to understand it all, but now I'm about as lost as when I started lol, oh well. I'll figure it out eventually.

Why would you bet player side? I believe for banker the edge is -1.06%. Also, do ties count as clearing the bonus? Blackjack could be better, but I also would have to monkey with having enough money to split and double. Also they aren't as super clear on the rules since they can vary per game. I believe Baccarat is somewhat universal in the rules. I'd prefer to just bet the bonus in one swoop and hope I get lucky rather than multiple bets.

I did the math and realized that the 15x playthroughs were actually a better deal, but I mistakenly missed the fact that those bonuses have to be released through slots only. So don't make the same mistake I did! Fortunately, I did a test bonus purchase for the lowest one. I had to play $300 to release $20. Figured the slot machine was only about 5% house edge which would be a $5 EV play. I clicked on some dragon slot machine and... it did not go well. I did 15 spins of $20 and lost all of them and won like 2 and ended up down $270ish dollars. It may have been worse than a 5% house edge, perhaps it would have been better to just let the bonus expire. I suppose I let the sunk cost fallacy get to me since I already spent the bonus points and didn't know the house advantage. I was getting pretty pissed off, because the dragon's crystal ball thingy started glowing up every time I lost and I kept wondering if I won something. Oh well, slots suck. I did the 1x playthrough bonus and was able to play blackjack 1 deck which I feel has a great house edge of around 0.21%ish. This should outperform the baccarat although you will need to know basic strategy for blackjack or at least have a chart available. I plugged in the game rules into Wizard of Odds and got the following:
If you play blackjack in one hand you don't have the opportunity to double or split without going over budget if you want to play the bonus in one hand. Since you can't double after splitting you only need to wager 1/2 the bonus amount per hand. In the 1 deck game you can play 3 hands at a time. Playing more hands can give an edge as well. A positive running count of 3 makes buying insurance on a dealer ace a good idea. More cards give more information. The seat to the left gets to act last giving it a slight edge over the other hands because you have more room for making positive deviations (such as standing on 16 vs a dealer 10 with a positive count). I tried to put 10 cents in the middle seat and right seat to maximize the slight edge of the leftmost seat, but the biggest bet cannot exceed 5 times the lowest bet of another seat according to the rules. So I've come up with a strategy that I really like to clear bonuses with this game. Just guessing, you probably could get the house edge down to the point high teens. Get the basic strategy for this game on the wizard of odds website and also get a chart of the illustrious 18 for deviations. Take your bonus amount you need to clear and take 5/14 of that and put it in the left most seat. Put 1/14 in the middle and 1/14 in the right most seat. Now you have half the bonus on the table. After playing a hand redo that step as the bonus gets lower until it is cleared.

Sry I didn't see this earlier. The two baccarat games I found took an extra 5% commission for betting on banker (I was betting on banker at first). Ties count, just gotta play it through. Yeah I'm sure blackjack is better with proper strategy, I just preferred mindlessly betting without having to think about it.

Yeah not going to grind that hard sheesh. I must have underestimated how easy it is to get loyalty points. I think I calculated that if I get like 30kish hands in a month I should be able to reach level 7. Level 8 would be 120kish hands. I used to do around 83k hands a month on other sites, but I don't even do that anymore. The action on this platform I imagine is a lot slower than on other sites out there, because of all the recs. I was a bit intimidated by the anonymous poker, but ngl it is kind of growing on me. I'm a bit sad that we're coming to the last week of the leaderboard challenge, because I wanted to participate in it. This could be something wrong on my end, but the audio cues sometimes stop happening and I'm playing the game silent which actually is a bit tougher, because it is easier to time out. The speakers on my laptop are a bit ass though so it could just be my computer. A couple of times I'll click a button and nothing will happen and then it will force me to time out and either auto check or auto fold. This has normally happened when I've clicked the fold button. However, today this happened when I clicked the call button. I was forced to fold two pair in a HU pot on the river because I could not click anything. Hopefully this is a one off fluke, because if this continues to happen I can't see myself continuing to play at BetRivers. I just can't have that be happening while I'm playing. So if you are playing just casino then you can have just the casino one up, but if your playing poker yes both need to be up. On the cpu part, not sure how to help since dont know the specs of your computer. Is it a old computer, what OS you are running, amount of ram you are running, etc....

Yeah for the low stakes MTT, the guarantees are not as good until you get to the 10-dollar MTTs. WSOP was good with the 1-dollar nightly ben for 500 guaranteed. But for me Im still liking betriver better.

Lol at hnr at 100buy in. The default buy in at 100 buy is already non standard. A lot of time people get geolocation problem and are force to close a d sign in again. Same thing w playing for long time and poker lobby get buggy and froze up and are force to close everything. But yea i wish default buy in is a little smaller so that a lot more recs can buy in at +500plo. Of course you get rathole by some reg but overall the level of recs will increase. You got to learn to live w small problem to get overall +ev.

I have never seem a reg quit because someone won big and come back w 100bb. it more likely to tilt them and cause them to play longer. the only time they will instant quit is if a recreational quit though. why dont' we make a rule that if you a reg you can't instant sit out when recreational bust. IT looks super bad.

Never was talking about recs. Encourage it for recs, but I think we all agree its not just recs hit and running. Plenty of nitty vpips doing it and coming right back. I agree with you when it comes to buyins being shorter. 30bb would be great. And instant sit is tilting AF. Overall site is great.

Anyone know how to playthrough the current re-deposit bonus? I deposited, it shows the $100 bonus (which was never the case for my welcome bonus, so at least I've got that going for me 😃 ), but after two days of grinding cash games it says I still have $100.00 left to wager. Reading through the rules, it seems I need to wager my entire cash roll first AND THEN the next $100 in wagers will count as the bonus money. So does that mean I'm supposed to sit at a bunch of 2knl tables until my whole role is wagered, and then the next 100nl table I open will be a freeroll? It also says wagers at "eligible" games, so no idea if poker is even eligible and I deposited money for nothing.

I don't know about any of this, I just know I've paid $1.8k in rake and I have 7k bonus points, which I guess amounts to like $100, so like 5.7% rakeback lol. Interestingly, this is 1/4 of the 22.5% you initially estimated before accounting for point boosts and all that, so I guess this is the baseline for a dirty Delawarian. It's early days yet, but I haven't noticed an uptick since achieving Platinum / Level 4, and apparently I was supposed to be getting a 2x boost from day 1 just be being Gold / Level 0? Leaderboard seems very top heavy: great for the full-time pros and I guess people grinding the witching hour, but I don't think I'll ever see a payout at the nosebleeds of 100nl+ (lol). You can min-cash on other sites by playing <5k hands, which is enough to juice your already 30%+ rakeback by another 5-10% before other promotions. So am I gonna top out at <10% rakeback (lol), or do I just need to get better at navigating the labyrinthine rewards system? I guess any tips on other promos (bingo, free spins, tourney tix) are welcome. Join the discord link I posted above. We chat about the rakeback and we can probably get you into a strategy that is over 50%. If your volume is really low…could be difficult. The gist is - you need to be at least black / level 6 to take advantage of the 2 monthly deposit matches that give you $500 each in bonus money. Also, at lvl 5 - it’s better to buy the 1x casino bonus - $50 for 3500 points. At lvl 7, $150 for 10,000 points. Play baccarat and bet banker. $5 or $10 bets. Purchasing the poker bonuses is straight up costing you money. Also, don’t forgot about the weekly log in bonus - this may be a Michigan thing. Never seen so many ppl with stats like 65/5 constantly show up with such strong hands, or they will have hands like a 1 card 9 high flush and fearlessly bet full pot on turn and river like they just know you don’t have it. Wish we could see the winrates on these clairvoyant “whales” but with anonymous names we’ll never know. Have been playing since it launched in PA and never seen players with stats like 75/5 not only last this long at midstakes but seemingly crush the pool playing this style. Makes absolutely no sense.
Those players are definitely not winning, but every now and then for every 5 of those players 1 of them will run hot and grow a 400bb+ stack, but the other 4 players like them will bust a stack and maybe reload a few times before losing more and calling it quits. Playing MTTS I've had a lot of hands that a third party would have some basis to suspect someone was chipdumping to me. If I were the type to only really remember the bad runouts I'd be really paranoid. But when someone with seven left at a ft minraises from the cuttoff and you shove 20bbs with AKs from the button and they call off for 3/4 of their stack with T5o it does seem fishy even when you win. That sort of thing happens a lot. The sattys are wild. People near the bubble out there committing straight ICM war crimes. I was 7/8 at the final table w/ 12BBs or so in a satty paying five seats and two small remainder places. I had to quit. I checked back to see if I somehow miracled my way to 7th and, no, I won a seat. I'm afraid to look at the hand history. I think my brain is still calibrated to the old days when a combo of it being a pain in the butt to get money online plus eastern Euro grinders made the level of play a bit better than would be at the same stakes live and with this site that just isn't a thing so the small stakes / micro games are essentially play money. I usually am at the $5/$10 level but the times I've won a satellite into a $100 tournament I've been borderline disoriented by the general level of play.
another anecdotal opinion but I've easily played 10mm+ hands in my online career and have been top 10 on the leaderboard every week (aside from last for xmas) since signing up ~6 weeks ago I have never seen giga-whales just get there non-stop so often. its just the perfect card for them in every 50bb+ pot since joining. slam dunk fist pump spots to shovel money in and I'm to the point where I just know they have one of the like 5 combos that get there every time. kinda spooky at this point. and, like, I'm not really complaining that much tbh. the rewards are such that even when I lose I can't lose. its just something feels very off with a certain subset of players on here.

I only play no limit hold'em so I can't say the same thing for plo. The variance in plo is absolutely insane.

A friend that also regs betrivers linked me to this thread and I’m glad others feel the same way about the suspicious play of these whales on here. Like others in this thread have already mentioned I have also been a pro for 10+ years and honestly never seen such odd play like this from the whales on rivers. They play 70+ vpips and end up with monster hands. It’s almost like the distribution of cards are skewed toward giving them stronger hands than the field because they don’t really bluff or show up with junk very often at all for ppl that play as loose as they do. They just literally end up being with the best hand more often than they should. The regs I’ve talked to won’t quite go all the way to we are being cheated but for how soft the site seems everyone has extremely low win rates (.5-3bb)…the saving grace being the high rakeback program. But it has been extremely frustrating to play with this pool to say the least. Also it seems like site security is lacking. The anonymous pool is protected by and kind of database analysis that could reveal outliers. The group of regs I talk to and myself have played over 2 million hands on BR since it launched and not once has there been refunds of any kind for any cheating or any investigations. Pretty unheard of. Even sites like bovada and global poker had security with investigations that led to refunds. I would be extremely careful for those that continue to play on here.
Seem standard to me. it Phil G. old site. I would trust him w my kids. I had 34 buy in under -ev last year and never once did I suspect something is off. Just figure it goes w variance. Don' tthink there are any cheating since it US regulated. the incentive to cheat on here is tough. no team viewer possible etc.

Very nice! I personally have performed better at this site than PokerStars and BetMGM with around a 100k sample. I also think the anonymous aspect can be suited well for some players and not as well for others. I initially thought my winrate would be lower because a lot of my strat is heavily focused on stats, but surprisingly it seems to be better. The competition does feel softer, but I also am less paranoid about my lines getting exploited which I believe in turn makes me play better. I've also been running quite hot lately so there is that. I do feel the games are fair though, even though there are a lot more suckouts. You can request the hands by clicking the gear icon in the poker lobby and then click on "playing history". At that point you can request the hand histories on the following pages where it will get sent to your email. You then have to download them to your computer. Once you have them on your computer you can load them into a tracker like PT4 or whatever tracker you like to use.
