I haven't been really since precovid -- if it's going to be similar than in the past -- cheap microwaved food that was also in short supply and way too many people who either snuck in or too many diamonds in general -- I'll pass.

Ever since the food stopped being free, the diamond lounge was never busy.

You have to pay for parking soon if you don't have a Caesars card (of any level):

The pay for parking kiosk is to the left of the Guard's desk. The Rewards booth to sign up for a free players card and get free parking is on the right side of the Guard's desk. Can't believe Horseshoe is investing so much in hardware (ie: gates and license plate cameras at each garage entrance and exit) just to get people to sign up?

The extra rake is obviously for the unparalleled service and experience that Horseshoe Baltimore has to offer. It's not like the room revolves around one unruly patron who keeps getting himself banned and reinstated or anything.

Greek still trying to spin it while acting miserable everyday? Man some ppl would have a way better life if they never learned poker

You ever play here? I seem to recall you preferring mixed games and that isn't happening here ASAIK.

I was there for the series they ran a few months ago. And was hoping to work with Mario to schedule one of my seminars there. I'll have to chat with whomever takes over and see if they would like to make that happen. Anybody know who that is yet? Thanks!

Hopefully you can work something out! I'd definitely schlep out to Baltimore for it. I was at the last Philly thing you did just before COVID and then Harrah's deciding to not reopen the poker room. In fact, that was the last time I was in the poker room there...

Slots: They replaced Return rewards (Rr) with Instant rewards. Rr was bonus Freeplay 3 days later. Ir is next day. Now the weird thing: 450 tier credits is $10 Freeplay with Ir. 600 tc is $30. But 800 tc is $20. Wtf??? Also, Rr program gave slightly more. 1000 tc was $70 Freeplay under Rr. 1000 tc is $50 Freeplay under Ir :(

Heard the GM of the casino got fired. He was the GM for a few years. Let's hope the new GM breaths some life into this place. Also, Luke's sandwich place on 1st floor closed. That leaves just the pizza place as the only restaurant in their 'food court'

I recently visited after not having been for a long time. Walking on the first floor is very depressing. Lots of open floor space where slot machines used to be, the pizza place that is good but ruined for me as they charge 2:1 comps, and it's not worth $30 comps. High end steak, pub-style restaurant, and the small asian place are the only other food options I think. Less tables than I remember on the 2nd floor, with a huge stadium-style group table games section. I really may never return, which is sad as I pass by every time I go to Live.

I earned 2500 tc and got $125 IR. So it's roughly $5 IR freeplay per 100tc, except for 200 tc.

Am I missing something or are you unhappy that if you don't spend that $50 in a year that there will be a monthly fee? How long do you hold onto $50 gift cards generally?

I think i got a $200 gift card to lululemon that i haven't spent for 3 years - i just don't need anything from there. The fact a giftcard would take $2.5 a month doesn't make any sense and is inflationary on top of standard inflation.

The reason is the building liability. If the fee was not charged, liability for lost, discarded and destroyed cards would remain on the books. This could build overtime eventually affecting corporate balance sheets negatively. Imagine all the gift cards lost or damaged over the last 20 yrs all being redeemed in the same week. While extremely unlikely to near impossible, with the liability on the books that is what the issuer must be ready for. While not all gift cards do this it is getting common.

I used my $100 diamond celebration dinner at Gordon Ramsay (1st floor). I didnt order the ribeye because it's $90.Cheesecake factory's ribeye is 1/2 the price and I consider their prices above avg. Also, $90 will use up most of the $100 comp.So I got the sea bass ($56): Freaking small! I would be pissed if i was paying $56 out of pocket for it.... See full post

For this year's Diamond dinner, I got the salmon:

Hello, For this upcoming WSOP circuit , anyone have any idea if they will have a lot of cash action most of the time during series ? 5/10+ PLO or NL ? Never been to a live circuit event, iirc they are returning to Baltimore after a hiatus. From the looks of Bravo cash games here are pretty dead for the most part, I assume every stop has significant cash traffic increase though? Thanks

Any idea what's up at Horseshoe today? 2:15 drove by and they had both Casino Way and Haines St backed all the way up into Russell trying to get into the garage. My guess is just a fluke of nice day before snow storm people trying to get their gamble... or more likely.. get their TopGolf on and just everyone came at once and fighting with the parking kiosks?

Looked and saw there's the last flight of Mini Main but surely that's not it, right?

() $25 for pack of cigarettes?!? And they're advertising it like they're doing your favor. Isn't weed cheaper?

Not from a dispensary and if you get it off the street chances are it won’t get high unless it has dust on it. AA have I seen you checking? Dm.

Rewards credits are NOT accepted. 😵 They're working on it

() 2yrs later they are finally accepting rc! I am shocked they survived that long without accepting it. Enough People actually pay out of pocket for Dunkin for them to survive 2yrs? Also, 2:1. :( Pass

Is there anything in there worth using comps? Probably save them up and use at the steakhouse. 2:1 kills me

Yeah, I avoid 2:1 also. I usually go to Brew brothers and get either the $16 cheese steak special or $39 ribeye. Both come with a side. Jimmy Johns is also open but I never tried them.
