I'm just wondering what stake most forum contributors play in this subforum.

I’m just starting out in small cash game and finding my tourney strategy and experience is flawed in these games. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

xD Well, I'm back to NL2... It's starting to become ok. I'm too anxious to play NL5 as a poker player with 0 clue.

Curious, as to how accurate this sample is from a statistical perspective.

It is a sample of 313 people on the site so I'd say it is a decent sample. It'll vary a little bit, but should be mostly correct for the most part. I now am a regular at 200NL which is exciting! I've come a long way.

Majority is 25NL, right behind it is 50NL. I dabble a bit in 100NL. The reason I jumped around is because he game availability.

I'm currently playing 2NL zoom as I took a break for a couple of years due to life issues. I plan to study for a while and get some hands in until I feel comfortable then ill move back up to 25NL/50NL.

Sadly I'm not really playing right now- I live in NJ and it's pure ****ery. I was playing on Pokerstars NJ in 2025, but they sold their soul to Fan Duel for some bullshit- and now no site that is legal to play in allows a hud or even offers downloadable hand histories. 5 Given how much we have accepted sports betting- why can't we as a nation fix online poker- legalize it everywhere and allow access to the global player pools again I don't understand- we can allow athletes to promote sports betting on daytime sports shows, and we allow government insiders to profit by betting on Kalshi and other prediction markets- but we can't play the civilized game of poker anymore I'm planning some Canadian Grindcations in 2027 and I'll be playing 50NL to start. Maybe 100 if I can increase my bankroll before starting.

BetMGM allowed HUDs last time I was playing there. The software is a bit janky, but the rakeback was better than Stars even before the silly Fan Duel merge. I play on BetRivers exclusively now and I believe at some point they'll be adding New Jersey to the pool, although they've been wanting to do that for awhile. You can't really use a HUD there because the poker is anonymous, but I think the experience and rakeback is worth that tradeoff so keep your eyes peeled for when the merge happens. This is coming from someone that really loved using my HUD a lot back when I played on Stars and MGM. In your current situation I strongly recommend BetMGM.

Looked it up- you cannot use a hud on BetMGM and they anonymize names
