For colorado, when I went there the limit game was actually at the monarch and not at ameristar black hawk.

Oaks Club in Emeryville, CA has 6-12 LHE and ONLY 6-12.

I'm not sure what consistent means in "list any places that have consistent 4/8 limit or higher". Runs more or less every day? Or can be counted on to run at a specific time or day? I am a less frequent player these days so my info may be off, so I welcome corrections, but I can give info on Parx. Parx now has only 40-80 LHE, and it runs only on Tuesday (and, if it goes all night, will sometimes sustain through Wednesday). There is a larger 75-150 or 150-300 game that I think also still runs (on Tuesdays I believe?), but I think it is almost always mix now, not LHE. There is a 6-12 OE game and a 10-20 Big O game which basically run daily, but neither is LHE.

I haven't been to Borgata in a while, but I believe their games still go mainly on weekends (Thurs or Fri through Sun), though perhaps somewhat stronger during the summer beach time. Right now on Fri AM they currently have 1 table each of 10-20, 20-40, and 60-120, plus a couple tables of 2-4-6-12 it looks like. (Plus stud and OE.) Do note that the last time I played the 20-40 game (which was the last one still running) broke at midnight on Fri night and just after midnight on Sat, which was surprising to me. Not sure if it's still that brittle.

Adding onto my post above, Peppermill, and the other Reno casinos, now only gets 3-6 Limit games going.

Horseshoe 4-8 has stripped blinds of 1-2. It's a shame because it could otherwise be a fun way to pick up some tier credits.

Okay I worked through Bravo once, and now need to work thru Poker Atlas. I started in California, calling the poker rooms...I had no idea there were so many smaller places that spread 4/8! I'll pick it up again later. Keep the info coming - thanks guys! PS. I am always editing the original post when I get new info.

1. go here: https://www.pokeratlas.com/areas
2. click on an area
3. click on 'cash games' up in the black menu bar
4. see which places list a 4/8 or bigger lhe, then look up and call those poker rooms and ask how often the game is spread
5. post your exciting findings here! and say which area you did, so that we don't repeat each other's work

HG is not on PokerAtlas or Bravo but it usually has 4/8, 8/16, and some combination of 20/40 and 40/80 going. Hustler virtually always has a bunch of 8/16 going in addition to some combination of 25/50 and 50/100. HP had 8/16 and 15/30 the last time I was there; I know it doesn't spread higher limits of LHE but I'm not sure if it spreads any smaller LHE games. Commerce sometimes gets 100/200+ LHE going but it's pretty rare. It's much more common to see 100/200+ mix there. I have seen nosebleed stakes LHE (200/400+) at Bike a couple times but 99% of the time the LHE ladder tops out at 20/40.

You can add to the Foxwoods entry that $4-8 limit hold-em goes almost daily but nothing higher ever goes anymore. Sad as this was once the best limit hold-em action room on the East Coast (if not the whole country!).

Should all Pm/tweet Doug to add in lhe for those poker clubs in Texas. Vietnamese love lhe and beside Cali, Texas has the second biggest community. It also easy to deal/fast pace, I am sure dealers would like the reliable tipping.

okay i've worked through about half of PokerAtlas now. look at all that limit holdem!

okay I got through all of PokerAtlas - whee! there are still a bunch of places where we think there's a game, but are not sure how often it goes you can tell because it will say "4/8" instead of "4/8 daily" or something anyone have info on those? going down the list: Desert Diamond Tucson, Hollywood Park, Monarch Black Hawk, etc

The Orleans 4/8 and 8/16 are both 1/2 kill games as well

MGM Springfield 4/8 LHE Daily games. At times will even have two tables running. The games can sputter out in the early evening at times. Presently on Bravo, there is one table that has been running all day.

Not sure this is the right place, but WTH. The 20 holdem at Casino Arizona has seen better days, hasn't run the few times I've been there this week as it's apparently lost regs to the 20 mix. Good news is the 40 holdem seems to run daily. Rumor is house in order to rebuild the 20 holdem is going to make it a jackpot game, and only rake $2 for the next few months, with a $3 rake for a time thereafter (a few more months?).

Possibly the biggest LHE game in northern NV currently: the Petro truck stop in Sparks (east of Reno) spreads a 4/8. I witnessed this today but did not participate, just stopped in to use the restroom. Contact the truck stop for details.

Since August 1st, Bay 101 lowered their 20/40 Half Kill to a 15/30 (with $5 on the button in addition to SB/BB). $7 flop+$1 jackpot drop still (yikes). A minor wrinkle is if a missed blind posts $30 to get back in, it acts as a live straddle (i.e., $30 to play) from any non-blind position. So AFAIK the only public games above 15/30 now in the SF Bay Area are the 100/200 at Bay 101 and 20/40 at Artichoke Joe's.

Hey LHE people! Been a while since I browsed here, but I can update the Colorado info a bit. Post-pandemic the games moved from Ameristar to Monarch. However, “games” is now a misnomer as there is only ever one LHE game (pre-pandemic and pre no-limit it was 4-5 30/60 or 50/100 on the weekends). There is a 50/100 game that runs Thursdays starting at noon. But that is now the only consistent LHE game. Friday and Saturday is hit-or-miss if the game will run, and it is always 50/100 now, never 30/60 anymore. In the spring this year there was an organized game run from a list, it was usually 100/200 but occasionally 200/400 or 75/150. But I think the guy organizing it has been away, it hasn’t run in a few months, unclear if/when it will be back.

I'm guessing that is no longer accurate and was hoping he could give more recent info. Someone I know who went several months ago said they just had one really big game and then very small ones. I don't think the 15/30 was going at that time.

any 2025 changes/additions that should be made to the list in the top post? i figure if we combine everyone who posts in or lurks in these LHE forums, we probably cover most all of these places

I have heard the 40-80 and 60-120 that were at Commerce are now primarily at Bicycle

Echoing CrazyLond, the Commerce mid-stakes should be 20/40 (regular) and 40/80 (sporadic). The Bike should be listed as 20/40, 40/80, and 60/120, all regular. Hustler 50/100 is sporadic, not daily.

WinStar 4-8 never runs on Sundays any more. Starts on Saturdays sometime after noon and runs roughly half the time on Friday nights. Choctaw Durant now has a 2-4 game on Thursdays.

There is no longer 20-40 and 40-80 at the Gardens. Commerce has only 20-40. Bike has 20, 40, and 60.

There hasn't been been a 20/40 game (or bigger) at Sandia in New Mexico for years.

wow yeah, time flies doesn't it i still play online sometimes, but just for fun these days. and i'd say overall i'm still having fun, yeah what about you?

Not sure if this is being kept up to date, but the Bellagio info needs to change. Now 20/40, 40/80. 20/40 daily. 40/80 rarely except during WSOP. 40/80, 80/160 daily during WSOP, 150/300 pretty regular during 2026 WSOP
