Hi Everybody,

I am one of the exHungarian forum. I want to follow my onw jounrey and I decided to continue here. I'm a 42 years old veteran. I've played CG and HUSNG before for almost 10 years. I was not the best, but i was kinda hard worker. After that I went to the university and I did MA degree of Counselling and School Psychology. I haven't worked officially in this field, because I moved to Austria and I started to work as a flight attendant.

Last year I had more time during the Winter, so I went back to the tables, but this time I started to play PLO. At the moment I reached the BE on GG PLO10 rush tables, so because of the bonuses I have some extra.

The harsh truth:

The summer season in aviation is close to the end, and I hope I will have a bit more time to study and play. Also I want to put more effort my psychology carreer. I've already started to build some "selfbrand". Hopefully in the next year I can start my own counselling psychology business. Will see.

Dubious play, yet it earned 16BI thanks to the BBJ. I fired 25 over the weekend once more. ♠_drink:

Wow, that is an interesting aspect of the EV calculation. Checking for the opponent to catch up on the quads.

But honestly, who does he get calls from on the flop anyways? The best holding you will have is probably a lower overpair + FD, because many higher pairs will have 3b pre.

A counter argument to not slowplay for villain would be that anyone with a monster draw would not fold anyways, unless it is runner runner like in your case.

Congratz!

I personally believe it’s reasonable, expecting the opponent to bluff a four-flush, or possibly have the A♦ or another high diamond.

Congrats on the BBJ!

Paired board, people shouldn't do Ad bluffs a lot, even in PLO10. Flop check with low SPR is fine, but when he checks turn he is missing a lot of value in the long run. But when someone plays high rake games with 30bb, it's a good indicator that he is not playing the game from mathematical approach.

How much the opponent got from BBJ?

Hey!

I am here with the September's recap. Nothing special. I couldn't play as much as I wanted, I couldn't play as good as I wanted.

The black and white reality:

I played mostly rush PLO10. I had just really limited time to sit and grind more on normal tables. Unfortunately, the company surprised me some really long unplanned flights and usually I needed 1 day to recover after that. Work, private life, gym, study, poker. Not so easy to find the balance

In October I would like to improve the quality and the quantity too. More reg tables and more hands on PLO25.

Hey

After more than 1 week I finally had time to play. I was motivated, but I made a few mistakes. First — I played while I was tired, second — I tried to play 3 rush tables, third — I didn’t stop and switch off in time.

It didn’t go well...

On top of that I ran like hellbad.

I couldn’t win enough big pots. That’s part of the game, but it’s disappointing when you finally have time and then get crushed by variance (and, of course, poor play).

Habidere everybody,

Here are the results from October:

It looks bad... because its bad. I couldn't play as much as I wanted and also when I played the quality was also bad. The study time was bad, the focus was bad and Michael Jackson sang also a song Bad.

The good part:

I played much more on the normal tables and I can say that those tables are much softer the rush. A lot of 3-4 way pots so I became really passive and even more conservative than I was before. In this month I want to adapt these tables better and I want to find the optimal amount of tables.

Go back to the study and the better quality of play. The password for November: F0cu$

Hi Poker Players,

Time to recap of November.

Pure result:

I played ok in November, but that was swingy again. I spent more time with study and talk about situations. I had a good upswing and that time I started to play on plo25 too. I have won some BI-s, but the next couple of days I was more tired and unfocused, so I stepped back. AAAAnd I started to loose really hard. I switched to regular tables this time, because I had more free time to play, but the tendecy was the same. I think the field is much much better at regtables. In December the plan to stay on reg tables and hopefully the run turns and the invested work will pay off.

I think I will do weekly recaps to follow a bit better the process. Maybe I can see some good and bad patterns too.

Hi Guys,

End of December and end of the year. Well, in my previous post I wanted to do recap in every week. Spoiler - I didn't do.

But we are here and let's take a look to December's result:

Ususal stuffs, 10-20BI ups and downs. I want to be consistent, but not this way Yesterday after work I took a shot in the drunken field and it was quiet good. Unfortunately I was really tired and I fell asleep around 23:00

The 2025 was not my best year. I played almost only plo and I won around 1.7k, but this is only rb.

Full year:

This sample is big enough to say that I couldn't beat the plo10 field, the reasons are complex, but mainly the lack of studies, dedication, focus are the main points. In other hand I could beat the high rake, wich is something and thanks to the rb I made at least some profit.

I will think about that how do I want to continue. I don't have that plan to go back to professional status, so what I want a stable 1k profit per month as a side hustle for 2026. I want to build the system to myself for this. gL and happy new year to everyone!♠_drink::spade: ♠_drink::gl:

Hi

Let's see the January's result.

I had a bit more time to play and study. I put more effort on the study part and also I had a huge hutrun:

PLO10:

Because of this run I decided to step upper and the second part of the month I played only on plo25. The sample is not so big, but I need more study to stay in this limit, because I lost a bit even if I ran over EV:

After several months I could complete a br challenge:

Immediately after that I started a new one with a bit bigger amount and I had the winning hand in a BBJ, so that was a br boost.

All in all, I had a good month. I won around 900XP + 200cXP.

In February I want to continue the study and make a bigger sample on 25. Hopefully I can stay on this limit. Also that would be great to loose with a poker against a 10bb short player

Viel Glück!

Hi,

I haven't written in a while. I was playing, but not a large amount. In February I only played on GG and here are the results:

I played almost exclusively plo25. I didn't play well and often had too many tables running. In the end my profit was only a small amount of rb.

In March I played solely on Coinpoker because of the promotion. Unfortunately I couldn't track my results properly there. Ultimately I won 500XP. I didn't have much time to play and I spewed a lot, so I'm satisfied with that outcome.

I set a challenge from mid-January until today. I wanted to improve and win enough to reach the PLO50 stake.

Here are the results:

I couldn't reach that level, but there are positive takeaways:

  • I have won a bit at the tables and not only the rb.

  • My game is better than it was before.

  • I could concentrate more effectively.

  • I realized I need to run fewer tables, because my performance improves significantly.

  • I need shorter study sessions.

I think I'll do another 3 month challenge, but I'm not certain, because I want to put more effort into studying German and I'd like to find 1-2 English-speaking clients pro bono to test my counseling skills in a foreign language. And of course summer is here, so I'll be flying more.

Hi Everyone,

As I wrote in my introduction that I am a psychology counsellor.

Now I am offering 3 sessions pro bono to the first person who DMs me.

Why pro bono? I have never conducted sessions in English, but I believe I have reached the level where I can.

The sessions will be online, and a camera is mandatory. More information will be provided in private. If you are interested, don't hesitate to write me!

Hi,

I haven't written for some time. I want to document my results from the last couple of month.

March: I played almost only on coin becasue of the 100% rb promotion. The result was 1-2BI plus and the rb.

I also played a bit on GG:

Summary I had 950XP (promising towards the level up)

April:

I went back totally to GG. I played bad and that was lack of study and the result has shown:

30XP totally which is not so good (no level up)

May:

That was a better month. I studied more and the quality of my play was better. The result was promising.

Sum 350 XP (super close to the level up). I was looking forward to the Jun.

Jun:

That was the worst month what I had in poker for a while. I did wrong in all possible dimensons of the game. Lack of study, played without focus, played too many tables, played wrong tables etc. Also I needed to spend from my poker roll.

The result is more than disappointing:

Sum: -920XP (level down ♠_cry: )

The good side of the life, I started to do counselling in English. It looks, I can do it, but of course I need more practice. After the pro bono sessions, my client decided to continue our work together. The goal to have 5 regular client in the next 2-3 month.

Other goal to recover from this loss. This loss is a great proof. I became overconfident and it showed me I need to improve. Reschedule my days and my freetime. I adjust my study and playing plan. I keep the things what worked and change what didn't work.

True, but even with 100% rakeback (zero rake), if you can only withdraw in crypto, I find it fairly costly. Crypto also loses value some months. I can't afford that, but it's good to hear about!

I could use Luxon to cash in and out without any problem.

If you cash out and instantly sell crypto to money and transfer that to bank, it doesn't really matter what the value of that crypto is. I can only deposit via Luxon, not cashout.

How many gems are you aiming to gather on GG before you cash out? 420k for the $500 reward?

I cashed out 2 times the 100$. It might be wiser to wait longer.

Hey

Quick July recap:

BE month — I didn’t play much and almost exclusively did rush tables. I was on 1 week holiday and there was 0 poker. XP isn’t rising and my game quality isn’t improving. I’ll dedicate more effort to the trainer and play more focused. Let’s improve!

Hi Guys,

Summary of August:

()

()

Nothing special. Short on time to play, and when I did I was often tired. I only managed to be consistent in making poor choices. On the upside, I improved my results in the preflop trainer.

In September I'll stick to regular tables only when I have time. gL for me

It's tough to crush the micros on GG and Coin. The rake is just so steep, and with their PVI index you end up getting a lot less than you should hah

Hi Everybody,

Time to recap of September:

()

()

At least I kept myself the plan. I played only reg tables and only plo10. The good news I beat the rake, the bad news I didn't make profit at the tables, the excellent news I hit a bbj for 650. I studied more in September, but still not enough. Sum, I collected 678XP which is enough the new limit. I play in October on PLO25, but I pay more attention on table select and the number of the tables. Let's move up!
