Kumusta!!

As you all might know we (JQ, GRY, Waraiotoko, Ivan and me) are going to Philippines this year. We leave on the 16th of January (except for Ivan&Marek) to enjoy live in Cebu.

Why are we going there?

  • Nice weather

  • Nice beaches

  • Low cost of living

  • Good base to start other Asian trips (Macau, HK, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, China, Thailand are all 'pretty' close)

What are we going to do?

  • Play lots of poker

  • Analyse together

  • Travel/gamble to neighbouring countries

  • Keeping ourselves healthy with sports and good food (cook)

  • Party

Our goal?

Simple.

We want to have an accumulated profit of 1 mirrion after 1 year. It will take a lot of heart and commitment, a lot of work and analysis but we will get there!

This blog will be about our life in PI. You can follow our poker/travel/sport/life/visitors progress in this one. In the next posts everyone will briefly give an introduction of his poker career so far and his overall goals for the future.

Unity makes strength

Crew members!!!

WaraiOtoko

Hey everyone!

Guess it's time to introduce myself after joining PI crew.

I'm Marek, 24yo Slovak player, currently living/studying in Brno, Czech Rep. I'm half way through reaching Master's degree in computer science, specialized in security. Even though I "only" need to finish last 2-3 exams, I still have to write a thesis, so about 1 year of hard work left.

This is where I stand right now and I feel that after 5 years of studying I'm kinda losing drive/motivation for it. Defo dont want to give up on it, just feel that spending hopefully awesome year with PI crew is the right way to clear my head and regain motivation.

I started playing poker in mid 2009 with starting capital from PS, obv busting it in my first week :f_biggrin:. However own $50 depo did the trick and after few months of donking on a few dollar sng's I decided to give cash games a try in Jan 2010. It went quite well and since march I've been playing semi-pro on nl100 SH, later nl200. After having a bit of a downer in november, loosing 30bi in 3 days, I decided to mix it up a bit and try FR rush. I've never played FR before, so spent last month or so trying to adjust my philosophy from "no-one ever has anything" to "everyone has quads" ♦. So far doing good, and I'm really looking forward to analyse with other great players in the house.

2011 Goals:

-beat NL midstakes and shoot for highstakes by the end of the year

-learn PLO, preferably HU and beat small-to-mid stakes

-play more live cash (Macau?) and learn not to bust several bi's to fish ♦

Non-poker goals:

-travel a lot; since I really like asian culture and plane tickets are so cheap from PI, so Macau, HK, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and mby some others be prepared

-continue to learn Japanese after 2y break, and maybe take on another language (Spanish?)

-workout and either swim or run regularly

-party and enjoy life

-experiment with different sleeping patterns to have time for all these things above ♦, probably gonna try biphasic sleep of 5-6h with 0.5-1h afternoon nap

ZhiCheng

Hi, my name is Tomas, i play poker seriously since August09, consider myself pro from July10. The main reason why I am moving to PI is that I really want to work a lot on my game .. and probably there is no better way to do it than cooperating with other players. I am looking forward for long hours of analyzing, sidebetting on volume and other poker related activities.

Philippines Plan pokerwise

-beat nl200rush by March

-mby change site later on and shoot higher?

-learn plo n pwn plo hu up to 200... in 2011

-1mil hands

-100k profit

Dream world:

-1,5mil+ hands

-150k profit

Philippines Plan RLwise:

-Work out twice/week

-Learn some Mixed Martial Arts(urban ninja style would be my preferance)

-Do all kind of sport n own Jonases ass as well as the asses of other members (just had to write that sentence)

-Party hard

-Enjoy life to fullest

-Think abt life and plan my next steps

Ivan

Will be updated after PS reaction

Joenaes

Hello I'm Joenaes :).

I graduated in Business Economics: Finance in 2010. So after 20 years of school I wanted to change horizons and now I'm here in Cebu.

Poker Career: At the end of 2009 I started playing NL200 regularly and in 2010 I managed to get a good income as my first year as a poker professional. I crush NL200 now and beat NL400 at a good rate over a big sample. I'm not fully satisfied though because I didn't make that many improvements this year. From NL200 to NL400 is a big step but I'm sure if I had worked harder, I would have been a lot higher as well. So 2011 will be the year of the big step!

My goals for 2011:

Poker:

  • Become a feared PLO specialist

  • Reach high stakes (PLO1k(+))

  • Get SNE

  • Make $200k

How will I do this?

  • Play 5 hours a day on average

  • Analyse with my roommates for 1 hour a day

  • Watch 1 vid a day or use this time to analyse some more

Life:

  • Live healthy: Sport multiple times a week/Eat healthy (might consider giving Paleo diet a try)

  • Learn one the following things: piano/cooking/dancing. Strong preference for piano since I already play guitar for 7 years and I just love music.

  • Travel once a month to neighbouring countries

  • Learn more about FOREX + keeping pace of recent developments in the stock market for my own stocks/funds/...

  • Enjoy life to the fullest

  • Start some investments in rl businesses

These are my goals for 2011

JuiceQuadre

Hey guys! A bit about myself.

Im a 21years old student of Economics. Im interrupting the school for the Mission of Philippines to improve my game and to get some experience. Iv been living with my parents so far, so i believe this opportunity will help me grow up as a person and will bring some responsibility boost as well.

Right now i play nl100 rush on FTP. Im not crushing the limit but im solid winner.

I have about 600k hands lifetime. Iv been through some serious downswings and i think my mindset is quite strong.

My plans for Philippines:

-Get to nl200 and be a decent winner there (5bb+/100)

Possibly shoot higher.

-Start playing either NLHU or PLO, i feel like i need some more materials to study and new game is always good gor motivation.

-Play 4-5 hours daily, making about 130hours/month.

-Analyze daily with the crew!

-Work on my mindset + possibly get deeper into mindfullnes and some meditation methods.

-Work on my body, ~2 times/week a gym.. +All sorts of sports as i enjoy them all

The plan is also to get some private mma teacher for us, we will see how that will turn out.

-Possibly learn to play the piano. Iv been thinking about this for quite some time and now i learned Jonas wants to do this so ill probably join!=)

-No monetary goal for me I dont care how much will i make, i need to make sure i know enough to make a lot, then its all about volume..

-Start learning more about traind again.. I used to study a lot about all sorts of trading like 3 years ago but i forgot nearly all of it. This might be my future..

I recomend you to buy a few flip cameras - http://www.theflip.com/en-us/

post videos here and maybe make a videoblog.

The best ideea is to make another site where each one of you has his onw page for his blog. Post there videos - funny, serious, about strategy, about life in philippines, about how you cook, how you play piano, how you f*ck eachother when you tilt ... hire a cat and torture it etc etc.

If you have quality videos and with a little bit of luck you can make a lot of followers and then you can make money from that sit.

Your project is big and cool. Imagine that if your site is a good one, you will make money even after this project ends, because people will always come to see your videos. And it is good for you to have your evolution posted somewhere.

I hope my thoughts are clear. Good luck! ♦

I'll give the first poker update of this blog :f_biggrin:.

Not much to say actually except that I'm continuing studying lots of PLO and also grinded a lot today, over 8 hours. Got up a good amount of stacks but lost everything (and more) to a pretty bad player. Normally I got a stoploss but this guy was so bad + not using momentum well + I kept playing my agame, so I decided to play further. Unfortunately he took 9 stacks but I am really satisfied with the plays I made. So I'm stuck again at a very low amount of BI which is a bit unpleasant but I will get back. I just want to get away from PLO100 because the rake is really killing. Over a 12k sample now i have a winrate of 11bb/100 and a rake of 15bb/100 :f_confused:. So I really want to take shots on 200 again soon but with 3 buy ins this doesnt seem like a good plan :f_biggrin:. I could also deposit money but since I'm kinda new to PLO I don't wanna do that (except when I go broke on this site). It will take some more time now, but as said, I'll get there.

An interesting thought I acquired last days is that I look too much to the future. I am constantly thinking/dreaming about higher limits etc. that I lose track of what is really important: THE PRESENT.

While playing I should put much more focus in the game. Think about the decision you have at that moment, that is the only thing that counts. Try making the best one. Over and over again. Don't look at the cashier, don't use skype, don't think: if he keeps playing like this, I'm gonna get him one time, I'm gonna trap with my next monster and get all of his money, don't think: omg this fish is so bad, he has 4 stacks , I'm gonna get it all. This only leads to disappointment because if you manage to win it, you'll find it normal. As I said earlier in my own blog:

You will only feel emotions if something does not go as excepted.

Therefore:

Never expect anything! Just think about the immidiate present, what is the best decision NOW? Your life will become much easier + results will be better as well.

Just wanted to share this with you guys

IMO own NL200rush +5bb/100 is sicko, but please achieve it = we will need czech video producers and coaches If you play FR, we can learn a bit from each other.. I played my first hands in 2k11 yesterday and.... I' d love to keep the winrate 400$/hr but prly won' t find other way how to sustain it than not playing at all.... ♦

After 4-5 week of playing and learning PLO I realised that I am still break even. This is ofc not super bad because it's a new game and I am trying to learn it. But since I'm an economist I always think about what I can make doing something else. Since I know my winrate in NLHE is pretty big (will take lots of time to get that in PLO), I decided to go back to NLHE for some time. Regain some confidence, some money etc. Probably increasing the ratio between NLHE is better than switching comepletely. Now I went from 100-0 to 0-100. Probably starting with 90-10 is better and slowly increase that number. In order to maitain a healthy income+slower learning curve.

So last 2 days I started to grind FR again. Returned to stars cause I think SNE is deff doable for me without too much brainless grinding. I get bored of playing 12 tables anyways so I want to play more tables. This also gives a more interesting dynamics with all the regs I encounter. With Tableninja its really pretty easy to play more tables. Right now I 24table NL200 (cause I dont have that much $$ on stars atm) but I'm planning on going to NL400 once I'm in PI. Also when I move up I will play fewer tabs, something like 18 or so I guess because I need more focus there to play my agame.

Playing agame is very important for me. When I feel I miss out on too many spots I decrease the amount of tabs but I'm pretty confident this is maxEV for me atm. More dynamics with regs can lead to interesting hands where they just spew off stacks :f_biggrin:. Mostly starts when you 3bet them 2 times in a row they think you bluff every street in every hand :f_cool:. Also unconventional lines are nuts, no1 believes you.

right, i opened both my sleepy eyes and noticed that you flat/4bet, not cold 4bet, my bad. guess he probably puts you on small PP but he probably forgot you could have AKs and TT-QQ that you may flat/4bet for value. i do that to aggro 3bettor/sqz as well. i like it

Hey guys just owned Marc Karam on NL400 like hell. I live in Gib in the pokerstrategy flat with 2 more colleagues and one of them Patrick is pretty decent player so we play together & analyse.. We already up like 5k in January on NL200/NL400 13bb/100 though small sample still just 6k hands only, but we play AA++ game together.

Look at it ♦

River: ($416) 5:d (2 players)

Hero bets $195.00(All-In), MP2 folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $416.

We put him on mostly AA/KK from the turn on so we decided to call turn for our 11ish outs (sometimes K not out but unlikely he has KK if K comes).

RIVER ACTION

On river we tank and start talking like bad luck we did not hit and when we have 5 sec Patrick says "...if I am him and have Aces I fold if we shove now".. we start laughing than I realize it makes sense: 1. we have only 200 behind to 400 pot already 2. he prly cant fold aces to such odds 3. he is a good player and will know that 4. so he views our shove river as pretty much nuts 5. J on turn completes lot of hands he beats and 6. we never bet worse than aces for value so the only thing he can beat is pure bluff with his AA (while we never bet KK on turn as we have no value in hands we could beat) and 7. he knows we know we never have fold equity as (leading back to 2.) so we never bluff. 8. so our shove river is always nuts and he can fold aces ♠_cool: I manage to shove in a last sec of our time bank, Marc tanks a lot, chats and folds:

RIVER CHAT AFTER OUR SHOVE

Marc Karam: lol

Dealer: Marc Karam has 15 seconds left to act

Dealer: Marc Karam has requested TIME

Marc Karam: so sick u turn that

Marc Karam: AhAs

Dealer: Cornie4ever wins the pot ($413)

EDIT - btw we chat with Marc a bit afterwards thanking him he said that he layed down AA and telling him we were bluffing + posting link to this thread so he can see it. He is a nice guy and said he folded AA so we like to let him know what happened and play some more interesting hands with him even if we reveal a lot to him about us which is a huge advantage for him if he knows. But we like the challenge, try to beat him anyways and maybe he likes this blog going forward ♦

depends from whom, it varies. from Marc prly yes as he multitables so sick.. otherwise i think some good players 3b many hands even vs utg on nl400 just because it looks so strong and have so much FE preflop and on flop.

no, I believe we can overplay the field post flop pretty much, that´s why we call speculative hands. And we wanted to play Marc ♦ EV-wise JQs still performs well even if he has AA, I think it is not black and white

.

you mean why we call turn? EDITED - yep, we thought we may stack him on any 8, if we hit J or K we prly win the rest of his stack anyways as we only have 200 behind. We did that sick leveling only later on river. Thinking back about our call turn just for implieds, it is prly technically a mistake against such a good pro (technically we don´t have implied odds as he can fold AA on river what he exactly did.. but we did not know that so we called on turn) - but we did not realize at the moment. And actually calling turn with a plan to ship river and he has to fold is the nuts line so we played like EEEPIC ♦. And yeah on all the streets we were discussing various lines how to bluff him from his AA/KK - which in the end we did. That´s just sick brainstorming with patrick any hand So happy to be here in gib and enjoy this moments.

btw - this hand is prly my best online poker moment in my life so wanted to share with people I like - and I like the Philipps crew pretty much so I did.

Originally posted by i5bet72o hand 2: imo u look like a set there alot.

Yep, but he can think we semi-bluff on T and he likes to C/R turn

hand 2: your play is fairly standard, also your betsize is best, u nicely set up a river shove. he slightly overplays his hand here vs 90% of fr plrs, but its just a very tough spot oop for him if he doesnt have any reads on u.

yea agree with twicet

i think QJs jam is quite suicidal, I would snap all day when I'm not playing A game haha. I would be like "wtf is this?" and call.

and in hand 2 he's probably fucked regardless of what happens cause you will shove the river even if he check/calls the turn

Finally played some sessions again today after 2-3 days of farewell parties :).

Not many new things to add. I'm playing pretty good I think and I'm very happy with my mindset etc nowadays. Also played some NL400 already today (just a few juicy tabs).

Some interesting hands of this session:

First is not that interesting but its important to know because it influences the next one. Both were fishes.

hurcoman lost $112

So against the same guy from last hand. I raise the flop cause I think the reg in the hand never has a strong hand and the fish (who was like 57/20 and pretty aggro postflop) has a very weak hand range as well. He makes 2 minbets on T and R and I really felt he was very weak (also checked his ptr stats during the hand, which were really aggro but low wtsd). Also my sizing is small cause i wanted to have a healthy rivershove cause that is the place where he will the most. + I also think he will give me more respect for having a big hand now knowing what happened a few hands ago. We also had some friendly chat action right after the first hand

This one is also against a big fish who played 60/30ish as well and aggro postflop. I didnt 3bet pre because it is very akward when he calls and we are left with a SPR of 3 and we wont hit very often. Also the bb is pretty squeeze happy. I'd rather take a flop, spike a good pair and get him to call with lots of mediocre hands. Flop is okay for since it wont hit his range too hard. Even fish dont like to play many low cards like 2x etc. So easy c/c since he will bet many worse hands. On turn I still think his range is really wide and I just ship it in cause I think I have a good amount of FE and if I'm behind I probably have something like 8-10 outs to improve.

Interesting hands, Joenaes. I wanna ask you, is there any special reason why you bet those funky numbers like $42,75 or $41,90? Imo it just takes too much time to type it and it doesnt really make a difference whether you bet $42 or $41,90.

That is also the reason why I didnt shove the AK, cause shoving takes 2 seconds more time ♦

AQ hand nice bluff WTSD stat is really the nut stat. His line does not make any sense, I think he has total air. What did you put him on?

A3 hand do you call even if he bets 56$? I guess so as he hardly has any hand on this board, he just floats and then spews on river.

Something weak

Yea I also call a bigger bet. Actually quicker then this one because this looks more like a 'call-me-bet'.

Today my Visa arrived!!

I'm pretty happy with that because at the embassy they told me it was only gonna be ready today in the afternoon. Then with post I had 2 days to receive (actually just one because they don't work so fast) and know I already got it :].

It looks like it's a single entry though and I asked for a multiple one :f_frown:.

Lol you shittin me?

Played there like 2 years ago. And back then i was even worse than i am today and i was winning fairly easy by just following Bronze material here on ps.. THey werent good.

You should beware of hustlers, like unknown people will invite you to "private Big cash games" just walk away quietly.. then RUN ! Nah, but seriously be careful. ALways good to have like 1 designated driver (someone you know in the phillippines) that can drive you around anytime.. Just pay him well and he will be happy.

Yea Jonas is big luckbox...

Me on the other hand... Oh come on -1200bb/100 isnt THAT bad winrate is it? ♠_ugly:

also..

a small update from jq

I woke up and i cant seem to fell asleep.. but im too tired to play.. So i was thinking of making a smallish update.. Dont get used to it tho! ♦

(Nah i really will try to update here as often as possible, also i believe others will make me..)

I dont play much these days.. As Tomas said we should save the grinding for the Phili mission, now its time to spend some time with those we

Still i need to play a bit to maintain Ironman and to keep myself in a decent shape.

When we get there we expect sick grind for at least first month.. Im reaaally looking forward to that..

Also i tried normal frnl100 tables today and i might try these for some time to see differences between rush and those.. to get to the volume from rush i would have to play like 16tables at least.. maybe more.. im not sure i could play so many comfortably.. but i can probably easily play 12.. maybe 14.. and we will see, maybe i can turn myself into a grinder and play more.. table ninja helps a lot..

so the volume could still be decent and i feel like i can have bigger edge on normal tables.. They seemed softer today but i will be able to say more about that after i play some more hours..

I was also thinking about playing on both FTP and Stars.. going for SN on Stars and keeping my FTP rb% high by averaging 500ftp/day there..

Today FTP introduced tiers for black card.. that could mean

  1. higher rb for me if i would be able to make ~3500 hands/day on nl100 or obviously easier on nl200 when i get there (if i get there ) - doable as the plan is to play a loooot next months

  2. rush could get tougher as more ppl will grind for points.. ofc we cant know this but its fair assumption..

So yep.. ill probably stick to normal tables for now and after some solid sample i will let you guys know what i think about rush x normal tables

About the move

I thought i would describe some stuff to some members who wonder what is this all about.. since i still cant close my eyes and sleep tight.. meh..

So just in 3 days! on Friday! is Jonas coming to Slaný (small cute town where me and Tomas

[ yep i think i will keep calling GooRukYong Tomas, as i know him since we were like 6.. and what kind of nick is GooRukYONG anyway ♦ ]

live - TT can tell ) to spend some time with us, to adore this wonderfull town and to have the last party in EU with us..

(actually he is coming so early because the travelling is easier for him than during weekend and also he already got his ticket.. naaah i know you want to be with us Jonas HUG )

On Friday (or mby Saturday ) we have a goodbye party with our friends.. Saturday is packing time.. and Sunday we leave the cold weather and the cold runs behind..

The flight should take ~18hours.. With one landing in Dubai.. And then all there is .. is sun .. good night ..

Naaah.. cant sleep..

about Dylboi?

We are not sure if Dylboi is still in.. Obviously we hope he is.. The only problem is he didnt speak to anyone of us for like a week now and nobody knows what has happened to him.. Maybe he just has some issues to solve but its rather disturbing not hearing from him for so long..

Anyway lets hope he will post here soon informing us about his situation.. Whatever the issues are Dyl, you can make it! gogo sir!

sleep?

meh...

What you need to do when you move to the other side of the globe?

So i figured.. If i were follower.. I would be so curious.. What would it take to move to southeastern Asia for Euro guy like me? What do i need?

Is it just ticket and some $ in my pocket?

Well... for some ppl it could be that easy.. why not..

But lets talk about me..

Passport - I had to apply for a new passport as we dont use these anymore inside EU and my old one was obviously gone..

Tickets - i mean.. ye.. you need that..

Travel insurance - cant travel without that can you

Bills - whatever bills you are paying monthly, make sure it will be done automatically or someone will pay them for you

Visa - To live in Philippines you need to apply for 2 month visa, which you can then extend once you get there..

Vaccinations - sorry dont know all the names in english.. but you can always search the internet for enough info about what you need at certain destinations

Moniees- Make sure you will be able to withdraw ur monies in certain destination etc..

Place to stay when you get there- We are staying in the hotel till we find a solid house to live in.. We already have some contacts ( thanks guys )

hmm cant think about more... im pretty sure there were some more.. but im getting a bit sleepy... sleepy..

Cornie4everRegular28 posts
Posted Jan 12, 2011, 9:39 AM#102

yeah, tiers of black card are very nice Black card improvements (https://www.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=111039) Taking into account the iron man plus, they put back in place recently, it is already very nice for high-volume grinders

(btw did they email you or did you find info yourself on the FTP web / forums? I think they should have emailed their VIP black card holders and I did not get any email)

btw - I tried that normal NL100fr x RUSH and I also had a feeling that normal tables are bit more soft.. However, I think FT wants to popularize rush as it rakes a lot and also people like it because it helps people to (i) grind more intensively and hence (ii) spend less time playing, which is something very important for people with families, jobs, hobbies etc. So my perception is that rush is going softer and softer recently, which is visible on the fact that more players sit at rush tables. So the differences may prly fade away soon. Personally I will definitely play just rush for non-poker practical reasons, no need to table select, you just open 3-4 windows of rush and play and can quit in 1-2 hrs whenever you want.

..

Turn: ($196) J:s (2 players)

Was fun, I was pretty sure he would fold.

Thread looks fun, will prob keep up to date/post in here.

Patrick.

I took a look at the new FTP changes and I like them a lot. Although I don't really have any mathematical proof of it. Does anyone know how much I should rake to get 3k ftp points a day? I think it is doable because my avg is 1400 now and I havent played on FTP for 5-6 weeks and not that much before that either. So how high will my rb% be if i get to the 3k avg point? Something like 40%+rake race? My playing style is looser then most regulars.

Because of these changes I played on FTP again today and some thoughts about it (played rush):

  • It's much softer then Stars

  • 4 tabling is better for noticing game flow/timing tells

  • Its easy to start a session

  • More importantly: it's easier to take a small break!

So if the rb is indeed 40%+, I'm heavily considering going back to FTP since the diff between this and SNE doesnt weigh up to the advantages of rush.

Also...

Tomorrow we leave for Philippines!!! The flight is gonna be sick long but it will be worth it we hope

Next update will be live from Cebu, 30° and rainy

regarding FTP - imo 3,000ftp equals 4tabling nl200rush fr for 5-6hrs only, so you will surely do it. Personally, I think FTP is the best deal currently. Together with Iron man, iron man plus and 4x ftp points, you will surely be around 50% rakeback and yeah - the rush variant is perfect. I don´t like doing calculations myself, but from what I have read on various threads, it is deffo 40+%

btw I noticed that I rather play only 3rush tables, quality increases heavily if I play only 3

that would secure 3-6th place in december $50.000 Rake Race December on Full Tilt Poker (https://www.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=103477)

so you can expect approx 2k / month just from rake race.. on the other hand dunno how many regs move from stars to ftp given latest developments

Hey Joenaes,

assuming you spend your FTPs for 5k bonuses you'll get about 3.3% for each BC Tier, ~3% for Ironman and random promos, ~10% rb from new PS rake race

So together 27+13+3+10 = 53% rb which is finally comparable to stars

Bon voyage!

Thx man

Already played 3 hours today but ran quite shitty and lost a couple of buy ins. I don't mind because it still was incredibly fishy (compared to stars). Like Gerv said: from FPP pro to Iron Man Pro with a sick wr obv

Hello guys!

Just a small, but very important update..

First of all.. today the sun is shining, everything is awesome, so we spent quiet some time next to the pool doing nothing.. Sickest part of that is, that when we came to our room totally satsified w our outside performance we found out it was still 12:xx am.. what a sick life we r gonna have over here

IMPORTANT STUFF NOW:

As you probably noticed, there are some cuts in the crew. Basically, Dylboi has some family issues and ZeNick is kinda dependant on Dyl..

They said they might come over here after 2-3 months. At first we were like.. allright, but now w all the stuff we actually need to organize its not possible for us to be so uncretain abt how many ppl, from when to when, etc, is here going to be.

We would like to offer Nick and Dyl a chance of joining obv, but under such conditions its really not cool.. So, after some discussions, we decided to give Dyl and Nick time till this Sunday to decide wheter or not can they come WITHIN 1 MONTH.

By this I would also like to offer to all of you guys (1, or 2) to join us if Dyl and Nick wont be able to.

The most important condition at this point is that you are willing to come asap (within 1month preferably), so we can get all our sicko plans to work real fast.

Thanks for attention

(Dyl and Nick, we r rly sorry, but its so tough to be uncertain abt stuff when organizing so many things, so hope u understand)

Update:

We just switched hotels and OMG, what were we thinking. This one is for the same price as last one but it is super sicko baller. It looks a bit like Atlantis Bahamas :f_biggrin:. We also have good internet here finally! So yea when we arrived we all started grinding like sickos. I even started a bet: I don't leave the room before I make $1k. Because I havent played poker in 5 days now or see I really needed some money :f_p:. Unfortunately I made it already after one hour and the challenge wasnt so sick as expected :f_frown:.

Tomorrow we have a meeting with our agent who is gonna show us some house(s). Really looking forwad to that because it seems pretty difficult to find one.

Tonight we meet dwyt for dinner. Should be cool as well.

When he has a monster I have super sick implieds odds cause my hand is very disguised. I called and hoped for a non-spade 2 since that gives me most implied odds. Ofc I boxed :f_biggrin:. Another interesting hand I think. I didnt 3bet because it was the first hand of the session and I feel that I just get too much FE then. Also his Fto3bet is 89%+SB had squeeze% of 9%.

On the F I like to raise because my hand is underrepped. He will probably not be able to think of a hand I am raising here, since I 3bet JJ+ a lot. I won't raise 88-TT and maybe slowplay 77. So my range is full of sh*t if i raise here. So I expect him to play back a ton.

When he has a strong hand I don't expect him to 3bet the flop tho (it wouldnt be a bad play) because most players are too abc for that. They want me to continue bluffing. I wasnt to concerned about his c/r T. On river its close because I dont see playing a really strong hand this way. But I also didnt see too much value in a shove so I decided to just check it back.

In 2 hours we meet with our agent, hopefully we can find something good cause getting a house is more difficult than expected. From February on, we are gonna start the challenge probably. Soon openingpost will be changed as well. Dyl&ZeMammuth arent coming after all but we got a nice replacement by Waraitoko. He will join us together with Ivan around mid Feb.

Nice post Marek, good to have you here.

First party in PI was pretty nice, need to work on my seducing skills tho because there was no easy money in this club. Only Korean reggirls.

I woke up at 7am and started grinding for 3h before the fishes were awake :f_eek:.

I'm slowly putting in some PLO sessions again but ofc mostly its still NLHE. Some interesting hand here vs a reg where I took an unconventional line again. I wanted to overbet river so bad and I think its a big mistake not doing so because he wouls snap with every ace :f_frown:. Oh, now he snapped as well

hey poeple, I took similar challenge like Jonas with "not leaving a room before 1k profit" ♦ I raked 1k bucks playing rush yesterday, so sick.. I was +1k on NL200 and then decided to pawn some nl400 regs as well and it turned bloody - I was running extremely bad and lost 1700$ in 2 hrs and it was 3am in the morning. So I decided not to go to bed until I am in profit on NL400 ♦ so sick.. Some interesting hands

  1. reping ACES vs reg, I was thinking how to do it the best and realized that with Aces, I would only call flop and bet small to induce on turn.

Turn: ($185) 6:h (2 players)

CO checks, Hero bets $45.00, CO folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $185.

  1. aggro plays during the night on NL400.. I don´t care what he has as he has to fold everything except of nut-flush.

Final Pot: $436.

  1. Bluff catching vs extremely aggro guy. He gave me a timing tell that he is on FD, as he was betting sooo quickly. I think with a set, he would play bit slower. And as he is polarized between sets and bluffs (he cant play overpair like this) and is aggro, I decided to call.
