Folk Singer Jesse Welles

I'm not the guy who keeps his pulse on the evolution of new pop culture. But this guy came across my field of view as a musician / populist social commentator who is being compared to folk legend Woody Guthrie. His work is absolutely political so the topic belongs in this section of the forum. He has a pretty significant following and his upcoming concert tour is sold out at every venue many months in advance. He was on Joe Rogan a few months back if you want to go back and check out the episode. Here's a short song to give you a bit of flavor of his work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9LJh81n... I listened to Weed and it was pretty bad and I'm a redneck.

Much better folk country I've been listening to ... https://youtu.be/YARPrgVaxFc?si=7wbUfuec... (https://youtu.be/YARPrgVaxFc?si=7wbUfuecdck2OvgT) The Man from Waco - YouTube

I listened to Sports Betting and that was a little better. He's like a mix of a young Bob Dylan and his poetic side and Johnny Cash's gloomy western grit.

One of the best albums ever to listen to while trying to find that 9/16-inch socket with your eyes full of grease as you put in that new starter.
