Clearly at least one has straight or flush.

Is this a shove, call or fold

or both. A straight flush is possible, but it does seem unlikely.

without doing the math, I don't think that you have direct odds to call, your outs are 1 J, 3 deuces, 3 tens and 3 eights. SB might have a weaker set, but you must play first. If in the unlikely situation that you're facing a straight flush, you're drawing dead.

From the stats given, it seems that BTN is somewhat more aggro than SB, which leans toward SB having not only a flush, but the nut flush.

I vote fold.

Thanks for that.

At I folded then, but afterwards I wasn't certain it was the correct move.

At the time I did fold, but wasn't sure afterwards if that was right.

Do you happen to remember how the hand played out, or did BTN fold as well?

I do, but may I ask about my turn c-bet sizing before I reveal?

I would most likely size up pre-flop a bit as well. 2,5 or 3bb isn't to bad with also a loose passive BTN behind you.

Not sure about the potsize Cbet on the flop. Normal 2/3 pot is already pretty big, but villain on BTN is passive.

On the turn I would most likely make it around 20bb and fold to a raise or shove for value and protection.

Cheers,

Thanks for that.

At the time I didn't have those stats available. (GG) They both seemed "REGGY" at the time.

Spoiler River was a 2. BTN had flush. SB had Q-high straight

Yeah, GG does have some form of stats, but I don't know much about them.

Interesting that SB shoved that hand on that board.

Yeah, GG does have some form of stats, but I don't know much about them.

The stats are weird at times. Players can show different stats on different tables. And you could have a few notes on players, yet it says they haven't played a hand. 🤷‍♀️

Can you add notes directly on GG? I've never done that — I hardly ever play there, so I'm unlikely to run into the same opponent again. If you can, I hope you recorded that SB can shove a straight on a board that could have a flush.

Yea, BTN "only" calling preflop and flop makes him more likely having a flush OTT.

Real players. Deep discussions. Better poker.poker.forum
