One or the other of them have a pair. It would be nice if they both had the same pair, but how often does that happen?

Assuming I'm right, here is what Equilab (https://www.pokerstrategy.com/poker-software-tools/equilab-holdem/)[1] says about your equity:

Equity Win Tie

MP2 22.38% 22.00% 0.38% { TT-22 }

CO 43.44% 43.02% 0.42% { 66+ }

BU 34.18% 34.03% 0.15% { AcKh }

Now lets see what happens if UTG is opening almost any two cards, but CO has a decent hand:

Equity Win Tie

MP2 24.33% 23.70% 0.63% { 22+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J2s+, T2s+, 92s+, 82s+, 72s+, 62s+, 52s+, 42s+, A2o+, K2o+, Q2o+, J2o+, T3o+, 95o+, 85o+, 75o+, 64o+, 54o }

CO 34.02% 31.32% 2.69% { 66+, AJs+, KJs+, QJs, AJo+, KJo+, QJo }

BU 41.65% 38.76% 2.89% { AcKh }

Here you do better, but you pretty much must hit.

A lot depends on you, and your own player mindset. Are you a "go for it" kinda player, or are you a "make sensible plays when the odds are in your favour"[2] player?

Best of luck :gl:,

VS

No shame in folding AKo. You will take a huge variance spot without investing any cent yet. Decent change you get the right prize to call with 1 random shover and villain that maybe adjust to it, but I don't think it's worth it.

Cheers,

Crazy run out, but even 2 random hands have still decent equity if you don't block them.

That's why I don't take 2 all-inns with AKo. You're never decent favorite except against lower Ax combinations..

I'm not sure what you're trying to convey — this is a cash game hand.

AKo is very slick and attractive, but it rarely wins. Use caution.
