I truly hope there will be options beyond the league, because I'm not drawn to it and would welcome something engaging that encourages people to enjoy playing and spending time other than the league, since many players like me don't participate in leagues. I hope our leaders introduce something new that appeals to our users.

I'm very happy to be part of this great community. I still remember when I started playing this game and was looking for free games to build up a bankroll (https://www.casino.us/poker/strategy/poker-bankroll-management/) that would allow me to play without having to invest money, just time. That's when I found this community. At first, I only joined for the free tournaments, but then I realized that this community is more than just free games. Here, you can share and improve your game, along the way meet great people who care about keeping the dream of becoming a good player alive. Thank you very much for all these years of fun and learning. Let's make 2024 a year full of poker!๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿพ

I have never played the team events, don't want to lose for someone else.

I agree with Becky, the Decathlon was one of my favorite events ever.

I love Hi/Lo games and would love to see the Decathlon format with all low rated games ; Stud H/L, Omaha H/L, Razz, and Badugi.

You could call it"How Lo Can You Go."

Those games are in the team weekend variants games, but as you say, you don't want to lose for someone else. As stand alone individual games, not sure they'd be that popular with the majority CC members and would probably be a nightmare for CC admins to organise 8+games for individuals.

What is CardsChat Pot of Gold?

CardsChat Pot of Gold is a fun, team-based series that ultimately culminates in individual play in the final game, where the survivors will play for cash prizes! Starting with teams of four, then pairs, each week we reshuffle teams as you work your way towards qualifying for the final and individual play tournament at the end of the month. Play is broken up over four rounds each weekend in March, with the first four weekend rounds being qualifiers for the final game on March 29th. Follow the link below for full information.

This is a fantastic idea involving both poker skill, team-play and a pinch of luck (of the draw).

To take part please sign up here -------------------------------> Pots of Gold Sign-up (https://www.cardschat.com/forum/cardschat-special-events-39/cardschat-pot-gold-series-march-2025-546835/)

Pot of Gold starts out as a team-based event, with players getting reshuffled each week into new teams, culminating in a final game, where you play for yourself and VIP Chips and cash prizes! Just a thought/suggestion.

You don't. For instance, if you get to the platinum level, you will still have access to both the silver and the bronze levels. So, get involved and be active on the forum, you'll get there before you know it.

Down time is at 2:00 am Eastern, and could last up to 5 hours. This should not affect any of games that day. IF there is an issue later on that affects our games, then they would be considered cancelled, and coins would be returned.

The community games are a good reason for members to stay involved beyond reading strategy threads. A simple monthly calendar showing eligibility requirements, registration deadlines and start times in several time zones would make the events easier for newer members to follow.

CCSOP: CardsChat Series of Poker 2026 July/August Event

This event is essentially over for a new player. Only one event left outside of the Main, and someone starting now would not qualify for the Main Event.
