There have been numerous notable shifts in poker this year, from big tournament circuits to online poker (https://www.casino.us/poker/) updates and fresh promotions.

Which poker story (https://www.casino.us/news/) or event has stood out to you the most, and why? Do you expect it will benefit the poker community or shape the game's future?

I'm curious to hear what people have been tracking recently.

There have been plenty of interesting developments, but nothing that really just jumps out and says, this is vital for the future of poker. You know, let's be honest. All the big states who are supposed to be the big dominoes to fall, still not allowing it. Places banning sites that are considered subscription sites that have been legal for 15 years, 20 years. I mean, it was great hearing that the World Series had a great run this year. But frankly, I don't think there's been really anything major altering that I can think of. I'm hoping next year goes better, but, you know, we also still have a few months left in this year, so who knows what the future may bring.

As Luv says above lots of interesting news and developments but nothing that screams life changing for the future of poker. Still got 4.5 months left in 2026 thou. Maybe a miracle happens.

Cheers!!!

The news is that nothing exciting has happened . As others mentioned, most states in the US still don't allow legal online poker .
