I actually meet him at the wsop (https://www.casino.us/poker/tournaments/wsop/) this year. He is a very nice person as well.

He supposedly was a champion backgammon player before his tournament poker career , and a strong tennis player as well . But he lost quite a bit playing big stakes online poker according to the records .
