Do you feel this ruling is overly severe?

Are there others you believe ought to be prohibited?

Do you think this decision is too harsh?

Do you think anyone else should be banned?

I don't think that decision is harsh at all. That guy is the most annoying person I've ever seen.

I don't know about anyone else who should be banned, but I don't know everybody!

I think he's entertaining, but I haven't kept up this year, so I don't know whether he crossed any line.

This decision is welcolmed. The guy has been an abusive idiot for years and finally he got what he deserved, he shows zero respect to opponents, tourney directors so he reaps what he sows.

He got banned in 2025, but I cant find any articles comfirming, he is banned this year as well. Do you have a source for this?

Make it a lifetime ban, add any jackass like him instantly to the list and any POS caught cheating whether online or live instantly makes the list. The 5%-10%(estimate/guess) of the population that's like all this trash isn't needed and poker would be better off without them all......hell this will likely even help grow the game as the avg non-poker player wants nothing to do with trash like this and goes outta their way to avoid them. They certainly will NEVER spend their hard earned money to be near them.

Cheers!!!

It was orginally intended to be a ban for 2025 alone ..BUT

while the wsop (https://www.casino.us/poker/tournaments/wsop/)'s sporting penalty itself was not designated as a lifetime or multi-year ban from the tournament organization, Kassouf must formally appeal to Caesars Entertainment management to have his corporate property ban reversed.

If Caesars refuses to lift the trespass order, he will be unable to play in any 2026 WSOP events (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_World_Series_of_Poker).

As of the start of the 2026 tournament cycle, there have been no confirmed sightings or announcements confirming that his ban was successfully overturned.

I don't really see that happening...an apology from Kassouf. So yeah if the obnoxious little guy never apologizes it might very well be a self inflicted lifetime ban

Baniran je 2025., ali ne mogu naći nijedan članak koji to potvrđuje — navodno je ban ostao i ove godine. Imaš li izvor za to?

Yesterday a Reel showed up for me on Facebook; I assumed it was from this year. Sorry if this is outdated information.

I find it ridiculous that a main event champion received real-time help in 2024...,

and 2 people who were caught collaborating still kept their winnings in 2025...

but sure, there was also an obnoxious guy — let's ban him...... priorities 😅👍

If the decision came from repeated breaches (stalling play, disregarding dealer or floor direction), then a ban makes sense since WSOP must keep the event fair and playable for other players. In this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPXJ14gTQFI) Doug Polk poker video, some of the penalties called felt harsh, but honestly his nonstop chatter is relentless, so it’s not shocking that the situation blew up.

I think last year he was acting a bit erratic, looked like he was on something. Or maybe he didn't take his regular meds. He actually threatened the people at his table and he was behaving weird. When he lost all his chips he just wouldn't leave and he kept running his mouth. They had to escort him out. He wasn't entertaining at all, he was just a pitiful show to watch. He was out of control. casinos (https://www.casino.us/) are private property and you can be very deep in a tournament, they are entitled to show you the door if you don't abide by their rules. And although he didn't break any written rules I think after tolerating his antics they decided his behaviour was too much of a hassle. He looked like he was having a mental break down.

Maybe the issue isn't that Kassouf was banned in 2025, but that nothing was done about those other incidents?

If he isn't barred this year, he ought to be. He makes Phil Hellmuth seem like Mr. Nice Guy. Poker needs more competitors like the late Doyle Brunson.

I rewatched episodes of the world series of poker (https://www.casino.us/poker/tournaments/wsop/) from the 2000s. Many players, including ordinary people, behaved emotionally and unconventionally during the games. This is not a reason to treat them badly.

I think it was right to withdraw him from the tournament that year, ban for a bit, but can let him back I'm and warn him if he does it again, banned for good then. He is funny to watch rile other players up and got some funny phrases 9 high LIKE A BOSS!! 😂

Kasuf je jako ekscentričan i bezobrazan, maknuo bih i Martina, puno priča za stolovima, baš kao i Kasuf/))

And I would ban Martin, not because of what he says, but because of how loud he is when he talks.

G0930Shark127 posts

I would ban Martin, not for his opinions but for how loudly he speaks.

To be honest, Kassouf’s antics have made Martin’s conduct seem different in context.

He’s kind of growing on me ...😅

Yes, he’s loud, but then so is a whole room full of poker players.

IMO it's well past time he was banned. His conduct is way too extreme, and the amount of time-wasting and arguing with floor staff should not be tolerated.

Bravo to Caesar's for standing up for their employees and customers! ❤️ No one should have to put up with what I've seen that man do in videos. So I'm happy to see that at least one business showed him the door. I know that it's wicked of me, but I sort of hope that he will go back in there and not go when they ask him to leave. Then he'd get to have his breakfast of a bologna sandwich delivered to his room at the Las Vegas police station. 😉

Do you think this decision is too harsh?

Do you think anyone else should be banned?

After dinner, he really seemed to take things too far, and lot of fans/viewers, were put off by the way he acted. What happened afterward completely changed how I viewed him, his exit felt incredibly ungraceful and the comments he made after busting out only made things worse. Instead of handling the situation with some class, his behavior came across as bitter and unnecessary, leaving a pretty negative impression overall. Bad sports...

Poison91Regular60 posts

After watching the video closely, I get the impression that Kassouf simply lost it; it was as if he had reached his breaking point and finally snapped over that bad hand. I think he’s going through something unrelated to poker, because you can't react like that just because of a lost hand—especially when you're walking away with a $300,000 profit. What I mean is, that person needs help, and the penalty was more than fair; regardless of the circumstances, that doesn't give you the right to treat people so poorly.

Negreanu also requested the banning of a player from the wsop (https://www.casino.us/poker/tournaments/wsop/), without naming names, but said that at least 7 players would not participate in a $50,000 buy-in tournament due to the presence of this player, and everyone believes it to be Martin Kabrhel.
