A few days ago, the 2026 wsop (https://www.casino.us/poker/tournaments/wsop/) timetable was made public! Meanwhile, it seems there are several adjustments specifically to the Main Event. Further information is included in the article linked below, which contains the full schedule.

Thanks for sharing. From what I’ve observed, several events that previously had a single opening flight will now feature multiple Day 1s, which entirely alters the tournament’s dynamics. I’m not particularly fond of that structure, but it will likely boost the prize pools substantially.

I also appreciate that there will be free broadcasts to follow.

Who’s planning to go this year? @Mortis, @Luvepoker — any interest? I haven’t decided yet, but I’d like to. If I do attend, I’d want to try the Colossus event again or enter the Gladiator event.

😯 No, absolutely not — nobody wants to wait months to find out who won again. That was the worst idea imaginable! What are they thinking?👿

It’s iffy for me this year.

Hey Ken, if we both make it there this summer. Want to get lunch or dinner, it'd be cool to meet you person.

I was able to watch the WSOP last year and I also recall past years' tournaments and their champions. According to the schedule, the Main Event will begin on July 2.

I was going to make a short trip this year - but when I went to book a flight it was over $800 lol. I don't want to go that bad.

I had planned a short trip this year, but when I tried to book a flight it cost over $800, so I decided I don't want to go that badly.

I reserved mine just before the war began. Prices have risen a lot compared to the last 3 weeks. It's a shame you're not going.

It appears they're expecting something spectacular from the WSOP's new format; I find that remarkable.

The 2026 WSOP timetable seems promising. It runs May 26 – July 15 in Las Vegas with 100 bracelet events, so there’s an option for every kind of player.

I appreciate that there are numerous low buy-in events and multi-flight tournaments, which allow recreational players to join in.

The $10K Main Event beginning July 2 will once again be the series’ main attraction.

On the whole it feels well-rounded — a solid blend of high rollers, mid-stakes, and more accessible tournaments.

For poker enthusiasts, it’s shaping up to be another massive summer.

If I end up going, I'll be in touch my friend. As of right now, I may play the last flight of the Colossus, but maybe we can meet at Southpoint on the 11th or 12th to play in a tournament and something to eat.

They add new events almost every year… there’s a ladies’ event, a seniors event and even super seniors events… I’d like to suggest an event for 2027… Texas Hold’em for players over 73 years old, under 5’2” and over 165 lbs… sign me up for that one… purely a coincidence, I’ll be 73 during the 2027 WSOP.

I'm not a fan of a delayed final table , but at least it's not as long as earlier 'Nov 9 ' versions .

Sounds like a plan, Alex.

Hey Ken — sadly I won't make WSOP this year. Can't fit it into my budget. Work has been slower this year; hoping it picks up soon.

Safe travels and best of luck out there. I'm looking forward to reading how it goes.
