Hi everyone

My name is Laci. I am member of the site 11 years ago

I am relatively active on hungarian community, but recently I write more post in english section.

So, I am living in Budapest and I am working here in the tourism. I am playing micro from 2019. I have started with SSS and SNG and then BSS. Right now I play just BSS on Stars, on the highest limits of the micro, FR and SH together.

This year is looks like impressive when I look the whole statname resultsand then I swich to this year.

What do you expect here?

I try to make posts on regular basis. I would like to share some interesting and though ports, and I also like to start strategy discussion here.

I am working roughly 168 hours per a month in the hotel and I try to play at least 21k hand on stars on 4 table. I would be happier when I reach the 30k per month.

I have started to watch again weasel's videos from his red line rampage series and I check on regular basis the bluff the spot and mynameiskarl youtube channels.

I wish very nice afternoon to all of you.

Hi guys

Thank you for the support

GL to both of you

I have seen that I made a error for the starting year. I am playing on micro from 2009.

@kenthmp (https://www.pokerstrategy.com/participant/kenthmp/)

I play on NL10 and NL16. I should make withdraw time to time, so the process is not to fast..

@RedsYNWA

As I know Bulgaria is nice country. Unfortunately I have never been there..

Yep the hungarian situation is hard.. I am working as a bell boy and I see that we can accept room renting purpose from educational or business reason from hungarian peoples.

We have very few members from outside of the borders.

It will be challenging time for the next months but we hope the fastest recovery time.

And the second side of the coin.. I have more time to play online poker

I wanted at least 700hands for today. I played 1,4k. I need some leisure time and I want to post a interesting river spot, where I got minraise to my aces.

I got email from stars. I was sit out for long time while I was playing on more tables. They dont like this behavior.

I need to play attention for it in the future.

I assume you play regular tables instead of zoom?

Kinda weird for them to email you, because they should have an auto-kick feature when u sit out for too long.

I myself play NL2 on zoom. Should be able to move up by next week or so.

Sok sikert! Úgy veszem észre, hogy egyre több magyar vezet naplót inkább az angol oldalon vezeti.

Hi Laci24,

Welcome to the PokerStrategy.com forums English Community blogging section!!

Did you ever try the Mid-Stack Strategy?

I remember SSS fondly, it was like printing money.

Best of luck :gl:,

Yep, I only play on regular tables. I think my edge is bigger here. I very like to sit down as close as possibly to the biggest fish on the tables.

And I start table on NL16 FR, sometimes on SH.

GL to NL5. What is your BRM?

Eredetileg LahtiPelican posztolta

Sok sikert! Ahogy látom, egyre több magyar vezet naplót inkább az angol oldalon.

Szia

Hi Vorpal

No, I have never tried MSS. I knew almost always that BSS has the biggest edge.

Yes, I remember. In the first years I have checked lots of hasenbraten videos... It is hard to say that it was 10-11 years ago..

If I remember correctly, you play until NL25. It is cool.

I wish GL to you!

I have played 2k hands for today, and after the yesterday's losing streak I won 23 euro now. It is great to me next to the job.

Now I am waiting group learning call on skype with my hungarian buddies. They are playing at least on NL25, so I can learn a lot...

In the next post I will be here with the interesting AA hand.

I received a similar email from stars. They sent me a link with their sitting out rules. I didn't knew such rules existed to be honest.

Do you sit tables and dont play any hands? I was entering the table sitting out with the help of starscaption, when there was no fish i was leaving the table without playing hands. They warned me this was a "undesirable behaviour".

I didn't know about this rule either.

There was a player yesterday sitting alone at a NL 25 2-7 Single Draw table, and being bored, I thought I would play a few hands.

Immediately I sat down, he sat out.

What was he waiting for?

Really annoying.

Thanks for that -- I fixed the link so it works.

for the ̶l̶a̶z̶y̶ efficient:

It is acceptable to be seated but occasionally deny action in certain circumstances, such as being seated to help start a new cash game but not wanting to play heads-up.

It might be allowed, but it is still annoying

Hi

It is theme on stars. It's name is Black.

I have personalized the cloth and the background color. And you can check free deck and chip style on the internet. I think that these are better..

I will search it again.

My favourite was the hypersimple in the old version of Stars's graphics engine. This is not available right now because we can't shoot down the Aurora engine...

My HM2 is not running with Aurora, so I use statname, my player categorizing notes system and my HM2 in the background.

The winner is tomas14 on 96A55 board.

He made 3bet reshove from 22bb against CO's open.

But the 62o openpost/call BTN 3bet shove/call CO 4bet line is drop me in the gold era of online poker.

Thank you.. Your post is great to my soul.

So, my last 5-6 sessions was very sick. I have lost over 100 dollars. I have learned every single days.

I will post at least 4 hand from these sessions.

It is hard time to me but I keep grinding and learning.

I have free week from my job from this morning. My next working day is monday, so I can focus on my mental health, push ups and poker...

Limping the stronger trash hands and stabbing on most flops with a half-pot approach is working well against recreational players

Folding the SB is -50 bb/100.

I have now customized the range. I will limp with 404 combinations. I created an Equilab image featuring these hands.

After more than one week ago, I have created a really nice session result. 2,1k hands and +77 euro The field was great. I have started after my hand analysis and article learning. I woke up 10 pm and I started the poker things at 12 pm..

I think that I will be tired soon

Today is the last day of my quarterly 3 day long rest cycle. Tomorrow I will start my working session in the hotel. 3 nights in the row..

What sort of work do you do at the hotel?

In the early '90s I was the afternoon and evening desk clerk.

At the end of my shift, I also did the "night audit" where all the bookkeeping was done for the day.

Fun job.

So, in the early days of January, I need to look back to 2020.

It was cool year. I have played with 6bb/100 on NL10 and NL16.

I have learned lot from articles, videos and hand evaluation thread. I gave lots of help there and it is big honor to me.

I had limited time to play and learn, but I wanted great my spare time. 176k hand is not bad next to full time job. But in this year, quarterly million hands is totally possible... and that is one of my goal for 2021. But the goal lines will be in another post.

overall pic of 2020

One of the biggest improvement was in my game in 2020 the player orientation. I feel like, it is very important in these days... I became very familiar with canadian fishes and this is good

The second improvement in my poker area is constantly focus on my body and mental status. It is vital. The mental side of PS articles and videos helped me a lot and the physical exercises are very important to my well being.

I very thank you the help and support to the great community.

I will focus my english poker blog.

And in the next post I plan to write my goals of 2021.

So my session is over. I have played 1,4k hands and I won 14 euros.

In the last minutes I had very hard river call with top 2 pair in 3bet pot vs a regular, and I am not sure about it. The overbet donk river was extremly tricky.

It need to be in hand evaluation thread...

Probably I became again calling station

I have free day now

I will analyze some big pots from this and last weak.

And the reading of Application of No Limit Holdem is waiting to me ♦

Hi everyone

I was not active on the forum and on the tables in the past couple of months. My bell boy job was very busy and I had no time for poker.. 😔

I gave dismission to my manager and after couple of interviews, I have started my recepcionist career in the last section of last month in a 4 stars+ hotel on the Buda side.

It is very nice challenge to me.

I had 10 shifts right now, and Thursday will be the first evening when I am alone in the desk.

I can add task to the bell man.

These should be interesting days of October, but I have good feeling about is. This is deep water. 💪

I made some cash out which were needed, so right now I have 40 dollar. I will play on NL2 in October and I will add money to it for roughly 100-130 dollars.

I want to play again on NL5. And then on NL10 and NL16. 😎

I plan one short session for this night after my afternoon shopping circle.

I am free now until Thursday 6pm.

Hi everyone.

I am here again.

Right now I am working in another hotel as receptionist. That is my second month here and I feel myself very good.

In these months I have the main focus on my job, my crypto investments and little bit on poker.

Poker can be very fun and interesting to me in the next 2 years, I feel that, and right now I have passion for it also.

The hotel is very ideal for me, because when I have free time I can check hand analysises in my personal laptop and check again the articles.

Roughly 3 months ago I bought one Thinkpad Yoga 370, and it is awesome laptop to me. Brilliant. I very like it,

I had some sessions in the last couple of weeks, mostly in NL2 and I can put some hand in the forum...

After rethinking of my balance sheet I can use roughtly 400 bucks to poker, and I hope that it will be golden opportunity to me.

Hi Vorpal

I had just one session after my switch from classic BRM.

I lost roughly 1 BI on NL10. I had one cooler situation is 3bet pot.

I am planning more session in June, because I will have just 176 working hours in the hotel.

I have checked the tankroll BRM right now. It is the basic foundation of the holiday BRM.

And it looks like very inspirating to me.

I have 191 euros on my stars account and I will jump on that night to the tables. 😎👌

I will make 2nd defense line in the strategy, because I am very familiar on NL2.

My 2nd defense line and my feeling on NL25 will be the topic in the next post.

That was the first time when I played with statname and h2n together. H2N is very interesting to me... and I am using the very basic hud right now.

The session was cool and I marker 3 interesting hand. I am quite tired, tomorrow I am going to post these hand in the hand evaluation forum. I played NL2, NL5, NL10, NL16 and NL25.

Hi everyone! 🙂

As I understand — over the past 3 year I haven't been active on my English poker blog. The primary reason was that trading demanded most of my attention. I have a much larger roll in trading than in poker, and since February my monthly roll growth shows it's wiser to concentrate there.

But I don't want to give poker up entirely. I still want to play occasionally. 🤓

In my next post I'll describe in detail why I left PokerStars. That was one of the biggest decisions of my poker career.

This week I'm in room-searching mode...

Wishing you all a happy day!
