Quick post about my first tourney for this 2026 WSOP.
Event #101 $70 Mini Mystery Millions Landmark Satellite.
10k starting stack, 10 min blinds.
Super new dealer gives us only 3-4 mass per level (!)

Played 6 levels and now on break.
I’m 2nd in chips at my table with 22,000.
Blinds now 500/1000/1000.
Here we go!
2nd out of how many? How big is the satellite? Run pure brother you got this.

Why are they still using Caesar’s chips? Caesar’s sold to GG a while ago, didn’t they?

On a short 10 minute break.
It’s a landmark satellite. The objective is to hit 100k chips as which grants you a ticket to the main tournament (and they take your chips away).
I was up to 47k and suffered a hit when my 99 lost to 88 (opponent flopped a set).
40 players remain for 11 tickets still available.
I’m left with 33k and a prayer.

Villain in SB raises to 15k (leaves 27k behind)
Hero in BB, after posting 8k in ante, shoves for 38k on top with :ac::td:

Villain hits 4 runners on the board to make the 5-9 straight :wow:
BUSTED in 14th place (no ticket)

This was my only tourney entry… I’ll just be playing cash for the rest of the week.
Follow up…
Immediately walked over from the Horseshoe to the cash poker corral at the Paris and won my first hand ever of casino 1-2-5 PLO for +$250 !
