Hi

Some of you may know PurePoker Trainer, the free trainer I posted here in September. This is its little sibling: PurePoker Solver.

While building the Trainer I kept needing proper charts to check against. The good solvers are great, but they're expensive and often way more than you need for preflop and short-stack spots. So we built our own.

It's free. The most common spots (push/fold, standard preflop charts and the most-played flops) are free and will stay free. Deeper and more specialised content may become part of a paid tier later, but the core charts will never be locked.

Every range is computed by our own engine, not copied or bought from anywhere. The push/fold results are checked against well-known HU push/fold tables.

Where it stands today

✅ Push/fold 3–20bb, heads-up and 6-max, with or without ante (chipEV) ✅ Heads-up preflop at 100bb (open, 3bet, call) ✅ 13x13 grid with jam/call/fold, combos and frequencies per hand ✅ Mixed hands clearly marked: where several strategies are equally good, you see it instead of a fake "always" ✅ Board cards you flip yourself: 0 cards is preflop, 3 is flop, 4 is turn, 5 is river. If your stack has no solved flop yet, it jumps to the nearest stack that does (e.g. 20bb to 100bb) and tells you. ✅ Web version live, app built and waiting to go to App Store review 🔧 33 languages, poker terms kept in English (being rolled out now)

Development plan

App Store release: iOS version out as soon as Apple approves it

9-max push/fold: computed, but multiway spots have several equally good solutions, so I'm averaging several runs and marking the unstable hands as mixed before releasing it

6-max preflop at 100bb: open, 3bet and call ranges for all positions. This uses a simplified bet-size tree and will be marked as an approximation.

Deeper short-stack preflop (25–40bb): open/3bet/jam instead of pure push/fold

Postflop: solved flops for HU and 6-max, single-raised and 3bet pots, then turn and river

Search: type things like "KJo vs BB 3bet" and go straight to the spot

Whatever else we figure is needed while developing the Solver.

The order may change based on what you ask for, so tell me what matters most to you.

Links

Web version, free (also works on Android): solver.purepoker.no (https://solver.purepoker.no/) App Store: coming soon, free. I'll post the link here once Apple approves it. PurePoker Trainer (free): apps.apple.com/app/purepoker-trainer (https://apps.apple.com/app/purepoker-trainer/id6806193121)

The Trainer links straight to the Solver, and back. So if you miss a drill in the Trainer, check the chart in the Solver, and vice versa.

I'd love feedback, especially: – spots you'd like solved next – hands where you think the chart looks wrong (post stack, position and ante) – anything confusing in the layout – what would be worth paying for, if anything?

Btw. The calculations are pretty compute heavy, so will need 1-2 months before we have them filled inn somewhat properly.. the app will be updated as we go. After this, we will set up the generic solve-on-demand for all other ranges and hands.

Real players. Deep discussions. Better poker.poker.forum
