I played very little live poker. So my choice is of course online poker (https://www.casino.us/poker/).
live or online poker which would you choose

I have been lucky to played a lot of both. I do prefer live over online to be honest.
The one advantage online does give us it the ability to play when we want to and at any cost we want to play. Over the years and since covid buy in have gone up drastically and in our area are few and far in between. The one game that plays on the weekend is a 3 hour drive away and the buy in is $500.00. A bit out of the common folks affordability i think.
Sadly in today's environment it is pretty much limited to online play.
For me, I think online poker is more viable, besides being able to play in the comfort of my home, I can open several screens to play at the same time, maximizing my profits.
I prefer Live. Its simply more exciting, but is also more profitable too. So whats not to love!!
The main reason is the enjoyment to be honest. I play to win and to improve, but it has to be something I'm enjoying or getting a kick out of, and playing live def ticks that box!!
Live is much much more profitable but usually requires a bigger bankroll (https://www.casino.us/poker/strategy/poker-bankroll-management/) to get started as live games will have bigger buy ins than those available online but overall I think it's more of a personal question and what you're looking to get out of it or where you feel most comfortable.
I prefer to be at my computer with multiple cash game tables open and a cup of tea in front of me, if I was looking to maximize EV I would be at my local casino with a $6 Red Bull in front of me and pretending the whale's joke was funny. Depends what you want conditions you feel are ideal for you.

I played very little live poker. So my choice is of course online poker.
I don't really have the opportunity to play live. That's why I play online. Online poker suits me perfectly, because I can play comfortably at home on the couch with beer, snacks and watching football š
Online for money and comfort, live to play with friends for fun.
I like live poker but I rarely play lt and when I do it is with friends,my prefered choice is playing online reason: easier to sit down and play.
Live is better but long time no see in my city so no choice too play onnline
Live poker depends more on your bankroll and skill and in my opinion it is more predictable than online where miracles happen, but it is good in its own way.
I have a great desire for a big live poker tournament. I could really explain my knowledge.
Online poker allows players to enjoy their favorite game without leaving the comfort of their home.Physical interaction is the foundation of live poker, allowing players to observe non-verbal cues from opponents, such as nervous habits, facial expressions, and mannerisms. These cues can be valuable tools for making informed decisions and gaining a competitive advantage.
Online for now, haven't played live yet so I don't know how that is.
I played very little live poker. So my choice is of course online poker.
I only play online. For live play, you need much more free time, which unfortunately I don't have much of š
online all day for me, so pressure of people seeing me sweat buckets everytime i bluff (https://www.casino.us/poker/strategy/bluffing/)
I haven't played live poker yet) That's probably great!) Online - depersonalizes players, so we often make mistakes when underestimating our opponents)
Iād say it depends on your personal preference. Some people canāt enjoy it alone and need the live vibe at the table, while others just want to play a tournament without sitting across from 8 other players. For me, I prefer online games and maybe one live tournament a month.
I only played online poker.
online is more profitable because we play to win, it's definitely 888 online poker
I played very little live poker. So my choice is of course online poker.
Live poker, for sure! Why? Different emotions, really. Even at low limits, live poker cash games are always interesting and intense. In online poker, it can be compared to playing the Sunday Million at 10-15 level in terms of emotion. š¤
I tend to play online, I just love playing in the comfort of playing in my own home.
live poker is very boring and long very little is played per hour, in online more experience
I prefer live poker, but I'm too lazy to go to the club, so I end up playing online more.
I choose live poker. I can play from anywhere with internet and it's faster. I can also play several tournaments at once.
Hiš
Both are important, I will play live poker whenever I have the chance in a casino or with friends, the live poker atmosphere is characterized by the live social excitement, including the talk, the movement of the players and the difference in their nationalities and moods, and the competition is face to face, it is a different and strong feeling compared to online poker. For me, I find some time to play online poker, and I do not see that in the coming months I will be able to play live poker.
I see online poker as the only outlet for me to quench my passion for poker.
I like both live poker and online poker (https://www.casino.us/poker/) , but i think more chances to win in live poker .
Of course live poker with atmosphere and of course without bots
Live poker is interesting, I would like to try it, I think it has a great atmosphere, but in my case I prefer online.
I like both, but due to children and limited time, my current poker playing is focussed on online.
There are pros and cons to both. The advantages of live are that you can read tells (https://www.casino.us/poker/strategy/poker-tells/) better and recognise players. The disadvantage is that others are also watching how you play.
With online poker you get a lot of information from the statistics that are displayed for each player. It is also faster, you can play many more hands (https://www.casino.us/poker/strategy/poker-hands/) in the same amount of time.
I think both live or online has it advantage, it depend your condition which type do you want to play suitable for yourseft
I always liked live poker better than online poker.
Unfortunately, there are few opportunities to play legal games in Hungary.
it is completely different to play live versus online. I think it's better to play live.
sitting at a live poker table is a much better feeling than online
I only played live once, so I would like to play again.
Online poker is better in India because live poker is legally allowed only in a few states like Goa and Sikkim, while most of the country restricts it. Online platforms provide easy access, convenience, and a variety of games, making them the preferred choice for players.
Online poker is easier, of course, but I've always wanted to play live. I played live once, but in a top tournament. I liked it, thanks 888 for that.
My goal is to enter a live poker tournament but for now it's only been online
I would only ever play online. You would have to pay me a lot of money to even enter the door to a crowded poker room and I would never ever sit down at a table and play. Being around a big bunch of people is not exactly the way I would want to spend my free time.
For me, it's definitely online poker. But one day I want to play live poker, at least once.
Live poker any dayāway more fun reading people in person.
I want to play live in a big tournament.
If I had to pick just one, I'd go with live poker. The pace is slower, but I enjoy the social aspect, picking up physical tells, and the overall atmosphere at the table. Online is great for volume and convenience, especially if you're trying to improve quickly, but live poker is just more enjoyable to me.
I only play online, but live is better if you don't want manipulation.
I prefer online poker. You get more volume, more game selection, and you don't have to travel. Plus, you can play multiple tables at once, which helps you improve much faster.
Like everything in poker it depends.
As posted just above online offers more volume, more game selection, no travel, can play multiple tables, online offers cheaper entry point and you don't have to put with some of the the worst kind of human beings live and in person. About the only upside to live poker is it's way softer vs online.
Cheers!!!
No, in-person poker will always be better than virtual poker.
To be fair and honest, if I had a choice in the matter, I do love the live game better than online. The problem is in my area of the world, live games are pretty much dead for tournaments, and that's what I enjoy playing the most. So, I do prefer online at this moment, and even that is limited where I am just because that's the only choice I have in the matter. And what few live tournaments there are around here now are so far out of my price range, it's ridiculous. That's why I go to Vegas for a year and play as many tournaments as I do. It's the only time I can afford it, find games and play them.
well if i have live casino close to ma home i would play live, but online poker have some advantage like sometimes you do not have a lot of time and more games than live casino
No travel expense, no travel hassle...ever tried playing four tables in a casino?
I like both , but more i playing online poker . Live poker i like to playing with my friends and drink some beers . š)
In my opinion, both are great, and each has its own advantages. Online poker offers more convenience, a wider variety of games, and the ability to play multiple tables at the same time. Live poker, on the other hand, provides a unique social experience, allows you to observe your opponents more closely, and makes every session more engaging. In the end, I think it all depends on what each player is looking for.
Brother, on second thought, I wouldn't say that online poker (https://www.casino.us/poker/) is better than live poker. They're just better for different things.
š„ļø Online: Much more volume, you can play at several tables, check your hands (https://www.casino.us/poker/strategy/poker-hands/) and improve technically faster. But competition can be tougher, you have less physical information, and it's easier to lose control and lose money quickly.
š Live: Fewer hands, but you can read players better, interact with them, and often discover occasional players making big mistakes. The downside is lower game volume and more time spent.
In short: online = better for technique and volume; live = better for reading people, exploiting errors and the social experience. If your goal is to make money, what really matters is finding where the weak players are, not simply if it's online or live.
I prefer online poker because itās faster, more convenient, and you can play more hands in less time. However, live poker has a completely different atmosphere and gives you more opportunities to read your opponents. I think both have their advantages, but for me, online poker is better overall.
Thereās no universal ābetterā ā it depends on what you want as a player.Online is better for volume, learning, and freerolls. Live is better for big money, psychological strategy, and real experience.

Offline is better, because I'm certain the house isn't robbing me, however the disadvantage is that you can't open 4 hands at the same time, so it's not possible to be profitable live.

online, but that's because poker clubs are not as accessible where I live, and because of the convenience of not having to leave home to play, it's quite convenient
I would probably choose online poker as well. Iāve played much more online than live, so Iām more comfortable with the environment and the pace of the game.
One of the biggest advantages for me is convenience. I can play without having to travel anywhere, and I can choose the stakes and tournaments that fit my bankroll (https://www.casino.us/poker/strategy/poker-bankroll-management/). I also like being able to play freerolls (https://www.casino.us/poker/best-freerolls/) and smaller tournaments that might not be available in a local casino.
That said, I can understand why people prefer live poker. Sitting at a real table, seeing the other players and being able to observe their reactions must add a completely different psychological element to the game.
I think Iād like to play more live poker eventually, just to experience the difference. But if I had to choose today, Iād definitely stay with online poker.
Playing online is definitely more convenientāyou can play 3ā5 tournaments at the same timeāplus, traveling to casinos (https://www.casino.us/) is a hassle.
I prefer online more hands, lower cost, can play anytime.
But for fun and feel mor real poker no huds no bot live better
I have fewer options live but I like it more because I see the division.
I don't have a preference; both have different characteristics, and it depends on what you're up for at the moment. If you want to avoid noise and distractions, online is better. Live play requires more energy and focus.
Online, off course!! You can play more tables...
I would love to play more live. Online feels bit off without seeing the other people, missing the banter and how people react.
Currently online, because I can play with doing other work also
But later on definitely live preference
I prefer to play online, I'm lazy to play in person, I like it, but to go out I like to get ready, and that wastes time, I also spend a lot of time traveling to the club, and I really like the comfort of my house playing poker
I love playing live tournaments, but with the laws in the Netherlands it's almost impossible unless you are rolled or want to spend 50-100 euro playing in a hyper turbo crapshoots that's an hour's drive away. I get very bored with online cash games but I enjoy them live.
Liveā¦I can play online anytimeā¦if I am playing live poker, that means Iām on vacation.
