Apart from pocket aces, what's a hand you always enjoy seeing?"

Suited connectors like 7-8, hits flops in ways people never expect and it's cheap to see a turn.

Suited aces for me, especially ace-five suited. Cheap to play and the wheel potential always catches people sleeping.

suited kings are my go to tbh they feel sneaky strong preflop

steintiaNewbie3 posts

Suited aces for sure, ace-five is fun but ace-deuce suited is my little secret weapon — that wheel draw feels like printing money when it lands.

Suited connectors are my jam too, 5-6 suited specifically — feels like you're either flopping nothing or a monster with zero in-between lol

LarslorNewbie3 posts

Suited aces are fun, but I'm all about jack-ten suited — hits so many straight and flush combos it just feels crafty preflop.

pocket jacks are like that ex you know is trouble but you keep going back anyway lol

yeah 9-10 suited hits different for me tbh sneaky straight potential lol lol

Pocket tens man, I swear it's the most underrated premium in micro stakes cash games cause people stack off with top pair so easily when you hit a set.

I remember hitting a full house with pocket threes on the flop once and the whole table just stared in disbelief, so now I always crack a smile seeing that hand.

I dunno, pocket jacks are ovrrated honestly. I see those and just brace myself for another board where at least one overcard flops lol.

How often does suited ace rag actually pay off for you?

rajadch9Micro-Stakes Grinder6 posts

Pocket kings just feel so solid until an ace peekks out on the flop and I gotta hold my breath.

I actually enjoy suited connectors like eight seven of hearts, it just opens up so many fun ways to build a hand and keeps the flop exciting even when you miss.

Pocket nines. Sneay set potential when board runs low.

Totally agree. I love suited connectors like 8-7 of hearts too. Even when you miss the flop, there are still so many ways you can turn it into something. It makes the game way more interesting.

Won a big pot with jack ten suited last night.

sophkaoriMicro-Stakes Grinder6 posts

Pocket fives always make me grin cause nobody ever sees the straight coming when the board runs 4 6 7 or something similar.

ivoryesseNewbie3 posts

Jack ten suited just because it looks pretty when it lands. I know its not the strongest but I chase those straight and flush draws way more than I should.

wickosythNewbie3 posts

Queen ten off suit always feels sneaky good in late position when everyone limps and you can just open raise and steal a bunch of dead money. Half the time you whiff completely but the other half you hit top pair with a decent kicker and can actually control the pot a bit easier than with ace rag.

Jacks. I don’t know why I keep playing them like they’re aces but I just cant flod pre. They win small pots and lose big ones and yet every time I see them I still get that little buzz.

always happy seeing nine eight suited, it just feels like the flop is gonna hit every single time even when it dont

AshiotiaMicro-Stakes Grinder5 posts

King queen suited is my jam because it flops so many combo draws that you can semi bluff with real equity. Just dont fall in love when you hit top pair and face heavy action on wet boards.

King queen suited just hits different when you're on the button and the flop brings a jack ten, giving you the open ender plus the royal draw. I swear that hannd prints money in PLO too when you've got the redraw to the nut flush.

cedarxen5Newbie2 posts

King ten suited in the cutoff is my guilty pleasure, the blockers actually help a lot when you semibluff broadway boards and it holds up surpisingly often against weaker Ax calls.

haha I ride hard with ace king suited honestly, the way the table tightens up when you trhee bet it is chef's kiss. had a run last week where it hit a nut flush on the river three times out of like five showdowns which is stupid lucky but now I'm hooked

Pocket sixes hit me with a full house on the flop once and I have chased that high every hand since.

I actually dodge ace king suited most of the time because it just bruns a hole in my stack when it misses and I cant let go of it. Give me pocket eights any day instead.

emberoraxMicro-Stakes Grinder7 posts

I always peek faster when its ace five suited, just enough to steal blinds in late position without getting married to it

Raxalori76Micro-Stakes Grinder8 posts

I always like ace five suited in late position, it folds easy to a 3 bet and still flops enough equity to not feel liek a complete waste
