Facts bro, folding 80% of hands is boring but it's how you stack chips in the long run.

Bankroll management doesn't get talked about enough tbh, most people blow their stack chasing one bad beat.
Position is everything, I used to play way too many hands from early spots and wonder why I kept getting crushed post-flop lol.
Bankroll management is the real separator between casuals and grinders, saw a guy lose 3 months of profit in one tilt session last week ngl.
So many people treat poker like it's a lottery, but the grinders know it's all about those small edges adding up over thousands of hands.
Discipline hits different when you're card dead for two hours straight ngl, that's when the real grinders show up.
yeah patience is the hardest skill to learn tbh, everyone wants to play every hand but folding is literally printing money long-term
fr, folding pre with a trash hand when you're bored out of your mind is low-key the most profitable move you can make
nitting the small blind with j2 suited and hitting trips on a wet board feels better than winning a flip tbh
I folded ace queen offsuit in early position last night when a tight player 4bet me and he showed kings, would have cost me half my stack if I called like the old me used to do. Sticking to my hand ranges and not getting emotionally attached to pretty looking cards has saved me more money than any hero call ever did.
tracking how many hands you actually plya per hour is eye opening, i started aiming for like 18% vpip and suddenly stopped bleeding chips in those marginal spots where you kinda sorta have something but you know you're behind
sitting out ten hands in a row is sometimes the whole strategy honestly
folded kings pre once, guy shoved and showed aces. disciplinne saved me
folded pocket jacks for two hours straight once then stacked a guy with rockets when he couldnt resist my small bet on the river
when you say bankroll management, do you set a hard stop loss per session or just play it by feel depending on how soft the table is?
fold more in the small blind, seriously that spot leaks so many chips if you get too sticky there. also dont underestimate how tilted regs get when you three bet their button opens like twice an orbit.
i went card dead 3 hours and still left up lol
i side with table selection over just raw patience any day, a soft table turns that card dead grind into easy money way faster than folding correctly against sharks
The biggest dead tell I use is when someone glances at their chips right after seeing their hole cards, almost always means they want to bet.
lost a big pot onnce cause i played a marginal hand out of position, ever since then i literally just fold if im not on the button with anything less than premium
how do you balance that discipline when you've been folding for 40 minutes straight and your brain starts telling you any two cards look playable
yo something that helped me stop getting bored and playing trash hands was timing my opponents bet sizing tells on flops, like if they cbet too small on a wet board I float wider even with air and take it on the turn, it keeps my brain busy during those long foold streaks
