🤑poker players have a tendency of being more than a few hours behind when the opponent has to play the same position every turn

Idk what you’re saying tbh, but if it’s about position, it’s still the same grind no matter how many hours behind you are lol
ngl I've read this three times and still lost lmao, you mean like when someone's stuck playing the same spot over and over they get tilted and play worse?
bro ngl reread this twice n still dont get it lol
bro i think you're mixing up position with being behind in time or something, cause position changes every hand unless you're playing some weird home game rules lmao
Yeah I’m lost too ngl, but if you’re talking about people getting predictable from the same seat then that’s just bad play not a poker thing
ngl I think OP's saying players get lazy and predictable when they're stuck in the same seat for hours, like they just stop adjusting or paying attention
fr I think OP just worded it weird but yeah, when you're grinding the same seat for hours you def start auto-piloting and missing adjustments
should be a good one
I’d rather face somenoe zoning out from marathon sessions than a player who actually switches gears every orbit.
honestly i saw this happen last week in a home game where my buddy just kept folding to my utg raises for like three hours straight and i got lazy thinking he never had a hand there, ended up paying him off big when he finally trapped me with aces from the same seat lol
honestly if theyre behind hours theyre prolly tilted so i dunno if being predictable is the issue, they just punt
I noticed this once when a guy played tight for six hours then suddenly three bet me from the cutoff every single orbit and I kept calling light assuming he was bluffing again, which cost me like two buy ins before I adjusted.
id ratther face the tired guy who repeats himself than the one who wakes up with a random three bet out of nowhere
tbh i feel like op is just tilted after a rough session and tryna sound deep fr ?
i dunno i think predictable patterns make it way easier to exploit them not harder
idk i feel like that pattern only works against total regs who actually track positions, but half the time its just a rec player zoning out not some deep tell
the more predictable a regs rhythm the easier it is to fade their bets and not tilt into calling stations mode every other orbit
was playing a 6max table last night and kept hammering the cutoff guy every time he fatted big blind lol
One trick I use when they get into that predictable positional rhythm is to record my own suspicion calls and review whether the bet sizings actually changed or if my brain just wanted action.
Yeah that kind of positional autopilot is a goldmine at low stakes PLO, you can just hammer them with overbets when their timing tells scream weakness.
exactly why I crsuh the BB defend, easy chips
flatline rhythm makes their whole range chaep to see
I would rather face a predictable reg in positiion than a random maniac who acts first.
Yeah I spotted that on NL50 last night and ran my 3bet frequency to 28 percent against the predictable regs.
do you find this pattern more obvious in tournaments or cash games, because the pace difference kinda messes with my read timing sometimes
dont forget to vary your own open sizes, its so telltale
Fold a few orbits then 3bet their blind steal wide and wattch em fold 8 out of 10 times.
Do you find that predictability mostly shows up in their bet sizing or their timing tells?
Yes
NLHE grinders give away so much when multitabling
Do you find this pattern more obvoius in tournaments when stacks are shallower or in cash games where people can get comfortable and grind for hours? I feel like I spot it way faster at a deep cash table.
do you think this pattern is more exploitable in tournaments or cash games ?
ppl who autopilot the button like clockwork are literally giving away chips i swear i just wait for that half second timing tell and 3bet them into oblivion in zoom nl25
wound up stacking some reg last week just cuz he would donk every single turn card from the SB after a limped pot
Do you track their timing tells too or is it mostly just bet sizing patterns that give it away when theyre stuck in that same spot loop
do you notice taht mostly in the first hour of a session or does it get worse once they start tilting from bad beats
