Stake recently posted about the poker game on their social media platforms

what do y’all think about it?

What’s y’all opinion on that?

To be honest, I'm tentatively excited — Stake's RNG can be unpredictable, so poker could genuinely be enjoyable if they maintain fairness and don't rig it to an extreme.

Honestly I think it’s been long overdue — poker on Stake could be massive if they don’t tamper with the RNG too much.

Honestly, if they roll it out correctly and attract solid traffic it could be huge, but I'm quietly concerned about the cut they'll take from it lol

💀 ngl stake poker sounds fun but i hope the tables stay busy fr 😂

To be honest, I’m just hoping it isn’t another hyped release that fizzles out in a week — if the software is solid and they maintain active tables, it could turn out well.

to be frank, i'm just hoping they avoid overcomplicating things with a ton of different game modes — keep it straightforward and people will actually stay around

For real — if they get the fundamentals right and avoid overdoing the rake, it could very well become my new go-to.

I'm leaning toward it being a win for casual players, honestly. The real question is whether the regulars will flood it and drive away the fun tables. If they can keep it more of a party vibe instead of turning into a sweatfest, I'll definitely give it a shot.

Finally something fresh, just hope they get the odds right for hold'em instead of squeezing every hand

I’m waiting to see if they offer any real freerolls or low buy-in leaderboards early on; that’s usually the best way to judge whether the player pool is soft or packed with grinders right away.

Honestly, if they launch with a juicy bad-beat jackpot, this thing could take off quickly; I’ve also wanted them to include a fast-fold mode so the grind won’t get stale. I’m just hoping the dealing algorithms feel smooth and aren’t rigged like some of the newer crypto poker rooms.

yeah if the rake isn't insane it could be fun, stake always draws huge numbers for new games ?

My buddy ran up 50 cents to 300 bucks playing poker on a crypto site last year, so I am cautiously optimistic about this one.

I figure the "what do y'all think" posts on their social channels are mainly a way to measure interest ahead of releasing an actual trailer, so the fact they're publicly testing the waters gives me the impression it's fairly far into development.

My cousin once blew an entire bankroll chasing a straight draw on a sketchy poker app, so I just hope Stake stays honest and actually fast. If they get the vibe right it could be a real time sink though.

To be frank, I'd prefer they refine the live dealer features instead of pursuing a poker trend every other platform is already following.

I’d choose a polished poker client instead of another hastily put-together live dealer table any day, particularly if they genuinely heed feedback and design it properly from the beginning.

To be honest, if they get the bad beat jackpot feature right from the start that would attract me far more than another run-of-the-mill cash table. The rake had better not be terrible, though — otherwise I'll be sticking with weekend spins.

I hope they include a fold button that truly responds quickly when the internet is unstable.

I saw that post too and honestly I'm kinda curious if they will let us use our monthly bonus on the poker tables or if it's separate funds only

A polished poker client would pique my interest far more than them simply adding another live-dealer table. The crucial point is whether it genuinely performs quickly and maintains reasonable rake — if not, players will leave fast.

maybe they copy ignition s fast fold style that d be sick

Always up for extra card games on Stake, particularly if they keep the interface slick and not laggy like other sites I’ve tried. I just hope the pauses between hands aren’t too long because that ruins the vibe for me fast.

If they are serious about poker I hope they don't forget to run freerolls often in the beginning. Builds up the player pool fast and lets people atually try it without risking a deposit.

id rather see a smooth poker client than another half baked live dealer table tbh, those always lag at the worst moments. if they actually focus on getting the ui right and the rake reasonable i could see myself playing way too many hours.

ladyryNewbie1 posts

Id rather they perfect one table game than launch a buggy poer room.

quillanickNewbie3 posts

Honestly, a built-in bad beat jackpot would be awesome — that’s exactly the sort of feature that makes casual tables more entertaining. I just hope they don’t overcomplicate the interface trying to make it flashy; keep it simple and quick so you can jump in without long waits.

rexolin33Newbie4 posts

i think the biggest thing they gotta watch is the table limits tbh, if they let micro stakes breathe without getting destroyed by fees itll build a solid base way faster than just chasing the high rolelrs straight away

Myxayast69Newbie1 posts

just hoping the table speed isnt sluggish like their blackjack can get

woonaldraMicro-Stakes Grinder5 posts

just peek at the rake structure first thing before you jump in, saved me tons on other sites

A bad beat jackpot would keep me much more hooked than just hoping for soft tables each session.

The last time I played poker on a site that opened fresh tables, I had AA exposed by 72o within three hands because the RNG seemed so wrong it stopped being enjoyable. If Stake can steer clear of that crap and maintain brisk gameflow, I might actually give it a proper try.

I’d rather they fix the live dealer issues than hurry poker, honestly.
