Ah I don’t actually miss them that much since they always attracted too many passive nits making it drag on forever. I’d rather have a small buy in with a decent structure than waste an hour folding junk hands.

last one i played i remmeber getting it in preflop with queens and losing to like 94 suited and i just stared at the screen for a solid minute lol. felt like the time investment was never worth the payoff unless you ran like a god

They were a nice distraction sometimes but the inevitable bad beat after an hour of folding just felt like a time tax.

Yeah i feel you on that, nothing quite like grinding a freeroll for two hours just to bubble and woonder why you bothered. I kind of miss the chaos of them even if it was mostly just folding and waiting for someone to punt their stack.
