Its mostly skill over time but I swear the river has a personal vendetta against me, biggest pot I dragged was around 800 and it felt like pure luck tbh

I remember losing a 600 dollar pot to a runner runner flush once and just sat there staring at the felt. The biggest one I actually scooped was maybe 450 but it felt more like watching mtah play out than any great read.

Skill for sure over thousands of hands but last week i shipped a 300 pot with 72 suited just to prove a point and the table went silent lol

If you track your hourly rate instead of focusing on individual pots you stop riding the emotional rollercoaster so much. My biggest single pot was 1.8k live but honestly the smaller steady wins add up way faster.
