I once folded pocket kings preflop because an ultra tight player shoved, and he showed aces. That single laydown saved my tournament.

I sat with pocket jacks for like an hour once, just folding everything, and then finally a short stack shoved into my big blind. people don’t realize how draining it is to just wait and not spew
