Poker is a game of skill, strategy, and psychology. Some players wait patiently for strong hands, while others apply constant pressure with aggressive play. Both styles can be effective when used at the right time. Which approach matches your poker style, and why?

For long terms and good play patience is the key with confidence and some luck but if your chips are low u can't wait so agreesion is only thing left

I tend to switch it up depending on the table vibe but I definitely lean more towards patience until I catch someone overplaying their hand. Do you ever find yourself stuck in that middle ground where neither style seems to work and you just have to step away for a bit?

Aggro only works if they actually fold.

honestly i think the table size changes the whole argument like on a full ring game patience works but if you're playing heads up you basically have to be aggressive or the blinds just eat you alive

Patience is just slow death if the table figures you out tbh

I don't think it's that black and white, because pure patience without mixing in some well timed aggression just makes you super predictable and easy to exploit later on.

Fold equity dies fsat if you never bet big once.

I lean aggressive on most 6 max cash tables because you can just run over the nits and rack up small pots but I never take that style to a full ring tourney with deep stacks, the dynamic flips completely there.
