Ronaldo is the goat

the best

Hard to dispute that, honestly — his stats do the talking.

Messi fans would fight you on that but yeah CR7’s longevity is unreal

CR7 is operating on a whole different level, for real — the way he keeps pushing at his age is absolutely wild

He's still putting goals away for fun at 39 — it's absurd regardless of which side you back.

Supporters of Messi will attack you, but frankly, it's difficult to dispute that Ronaldo's relentless determination remains powerful at 39

yxonNewbie4 posts

Can't deny the man's drive, still putting in shifts at 39 like he's got something to prove every single match.

CR7’s mindset alone places him in an entirely different class; no one matches that level of hunger.

Honestly, I can't dispute that — the guy is just on another level.

cedarastNewbie4 posts

Hard to dispute the hustle — the guy built an entire career on showing critics they were wrong.

Messi possesses the magic, while Ronaldo’s sheer relentless obsession represents a different, equally frightening type.

Exactly. Messi's got that natural gift but watching Ronaldo just refuse to slow down at this age is a whole different kind of impressive.

If you attempt to replicate his jumping method for headers, concentrate on timing the jump immediately before the ball reaches you — his airtime is crazy, but it largely comes down to anticipating the cross ahead of time.

That jump against Sampdoria where he seemed to float in the air forever still feels impossible every time I watch it.

I attempted the sprint workout he shared last year and could hardly get through ten minutes. I don’t know how he still has legs like that. The guy honestly treats his body like a science experiment.

Tried his sleep routine once, ended up waking even more exhausted lol

messi offered superior vision and playmaking, but ronaldo's sheer athleticism and clutch ability resonate with me more. i'd prefer a player who can leap past defenders in the 90th minute over someone who spends the whole match crafting intricate passes, tbh.

His consistency across three top leagues kind of settles the argument for me, even if the whole GOAT debate feels endless at this point. Nobody else really matched that sheer longevity while adapting their game so completely.

dad forced me to watch his 2018 free kick repeatedly

rexixwynNewbie4 posts

messi's magic is undeniable, but to be honest I appreciate how ronaldo simply forces results through sheer willpower more; he moved to united, real and juve and dominated each time — that sort of adaptability is insane

For me it always comes down to pressure games and Messi kinda disappears sometimes when his team is down, you see Ronado grab the ball even if he's had a stinker. Just feels like his whole mentality is built different.

Was telling a mate last week how I remember exactly where I was for that Juve vs Atleti comeback — felt like he single‑handedly willed them on even when everything looked lost. Never seen a display carry that much raw energy in a second leg before.

If you examine Ronaldo's off-the-ball movement, his anticipation is the genuine skill to adopt for your own play.
