Real talk, just start with low stakes and don't be afraid to fold bad hands. You'll get the hang of it quick.
Tbh, poker's about learning hand rankings first, then slowly reading the table. Start play money and you'll pick it up quick
Aprendé las manos básicas primero, y jugá fichas falsas hasta que te sientas cómodo, así no quemás plata al pedo.
Arrancá con las reglas básicas y mirá algunas manos en YouTube, se entiende más rápido viendo que leyendo mil veces.

Fold everything except pocket pairs above 8s at first, it sounds broing but it stops you from bleeding chips while you learn. Once you got that down then start slowly adding suited connectors so you actually have some fun.

best way to learn is just lose a few hundred play money hands first tbh, the rules kinda sink in after you mess up enough times
Watch the other players more than your own cards at first.
oh man the rule about not string betting got me so bad my first home game, i kept pushing chips in little by little and the dealer had to keep correcting me like three times in a row

Honestly it depends which version they're asking about cuz Caribbean Stud and Texas Holdem are worlds apart, have you figured out if they meant turnament style or just a casual table yet
