Getting a flush is the epic way to win in a poker game

Hitting a flush on the river when they think they’ve got it locked up is one of the best feelings in poker ngl

Yeah man, especially when it’s a backdoor flush and they never see it coming

backdoor flushes hit different, especially when you were just chasing a gutshot and accidentally spike it

Hitting it on the river when someone's already counting the chips is pure cinema tbh

Backdoor flushes feel like stealing candy, fr. The best is when you weren't even trying and just luck into it lol

Nothing beats the slow roll of revealing that flush when they were already mentally stacking your chips

SandoriaNewbie2 posts

nothing beats the silent rage when you river a flush and they just sit there staring at the board

ladyoraNewbie4 posts

for real, especially when you're holding like 2-7 suited and just praying, then bam - flush on the river and suddenly you're a genius lol

Yeah, and when you're holding the nut flush against a lower one, that's straight-up printing money.

That silent moment when the last heart lands and you just tap the table like you've been there before. Meanwhile inside you're screaming.

hitting a flush with rags in your hand is the ultimate, feels like you just pulled off a heist

flush is nice but honestly a set that fills up on the river feels way more brutal to be on the wrong end of

do you prefer hitting the fluh on the turn or the river for max drama?

Last time I hit a runner runner flush I had already mentally folded my 9 4 offsuit and was just waiting to muck, then the turn and river both spied clubs out of nowhere. The guy with top pair tilted so hard he donked off his entire stack two hands later trying to get it back from me.

I once flopped a flush and checked it all the way to the river while some guy kept firing, and when I finally called him on the last bet he just stared at his full house and couldn't say a word. He didn't even notice the suited board until it was too late.

flush over a full house is the ultimate soul crusher, seen grown men walk away from the table after that ? ?

I once bluffed the nut flush with seven deuce and a guy folded pocket aces face up.

honestly chasing a flush from the flop with only one suit in your hand is a trap i fall for too much. you bleed chips over time hoping for that runner runner magic. now i only stick wiith suited cards when im in late position or the pot odds are just dumb good

NylramiaNewbie4 posts

I just fold if it costs too much to see the next card.

flopped a nien high flush yesterday and the whole table called my river shove thinking i was tilted

Chase it cheap, fold when the price gets steep.

last tourney i played live i went runner runner for a queen high flush and some old guy slow rolled his ace high flush so bad i nearly threw my chips at him. the rush is unreal right up until it gets crushed

Watching someone hit that miracle river card for a flush when they were statistically dead in the water the whole hand is honestly better drama than any sport i ever bet on. i got a soft spot for suited connectors just for that tiny chance of crushing the overpair guys who never see it coming.

big fan of check calling a small flush on paired boards instead of raising, saved me so many buy ins when the river brings another club and suddently you're looking at a possible full house sneaking up on you. the nut flush draw with overcards is where the real crime is, you get greedy trying to hit and end up paying off sets without even realizing it half the time

Nothing beats the sound of chips sliding your way after that last club peels off.

Novanda178Newbie3 posts

I once won a huge pot with a seven high flush because nobody put me on such a small suited connector hand.

idk man i think a straight feels way more satisfying because you kinda have to piece it together from both sides. flush is cool but it's just waiting for matching colors, feels a bit passive.

lyraanverMicro-Stakes Grinder6 posts

it feels a lot less epic when you are the one getting flushed on

umbraeloriNewbie3 posts

Pocket pairs to a set just feels way more surgical, you know you trapped them perfectly instead of praying for the right suit to drop.

Runner runner clubs hits different in Omaha hi/lo.

The word "epic" in the title caught me becauuse a flush definitely feels that way, but only when the board pairs scare cards and your hand actually holds up
