Poker's def not a quick cash grab, you gotta learn the fundamentals first. Start with low stakes and focus on solid strategy over luck — it's a grind fr.

Poker's a skill game tbh, you can't just jump in expecting to print money. Watch some basic strategy vids and start at the micro stakes tables, gl.

Honestly just learn the rules and play tight at first, don't go chasing big pots early on. Micro stakes are perfect for getting a feel without burning your balance.

Poker isn't really a "casino" game you just hit and win on, it's more about long-term skill. Start with free play or micro stakes and study some basic hand charts before depositing real cash.

Yeah I feel you, it's confusing at first. Forget the "earn money" mindset for now and just focus on learning hand rankings and playing tight — watch how others bet on the free tables before you risk a cent.

Start with the play money tables to get a feel for it, poker's way more about patience than luck so don't rush into cash games until you know the basics.

I lost my first ten bucks so fast because I didn’t know ace high flush beats a straight, learned that lesson real quick lol

Ignore all the big brain stuff for now honestly just learn why position at the table matters cause I lost so many pots from early seat betting before I undertsood that.

Fold low cards hard, odds swing with top pair only

Honestly folding too much can be just as bad as playing every hand, you end up bleeding blinds and looking weak. I’d say pick a simple starting hand chart and stick to it, rather than just folding everything that isn’t aces.

I'd say focusing on solid preflop hand selection beats tryinng to learn fancy bluffs early on, because playing fewer but stronger hands keeps you out of trouble spots when you're still figuring out the flow. Once you get that down you can slowly open up and it feels way more natural than just folding everything and hoping for aces.

do you mean actual video poker or live tables against other players because the strategy is totally different for each one, like video poker has solved charts you can folow

You should watch the James Bond movie Casino Royale.. hahaha. But for online poker, we can't see the facial expressions of other players.
