decisions rarely ends well. Pausing to consider each hand has helped me avoid needless errors and make stronger plays over time.

Each table varies, and adjusting to the players around you is part of the skill. Often patience yields better results than pushing to win every hand. Even after a rough session, there’s always something to learn that can improve the next game.

Wishing everyone good cards, wise choices, and lots of enjoyable sessions at the tables. Good luck! 🍀♠️

Slow play and patience really are underrated, I used to rush every hand and it cost me way more than I'd like to admit. Good luck at your tables too.

Slow play really does save me from myself most sessions tbh. I used to blast through hands on tilt and just dig a deeper hole, so that "adapting to the table" part hits home.

That "adapting to the table" bit is so key, I've definitely saved myself by just sitting back and watching how others bet for a few rounds before jumping in.

Tbh, learning to just fold and wait has saved my stack more times than any fancy play ever has. That "something new to learn" part is real, every session teaches you something if you're paying attention.

Ngl, the "adapting to the table" part is what separates the grinders from the gamblers — once you stop forcing it and just read the room, the game feels way less like a coin flip.

Patience at the table really is a superpower, I’ve lost count of how many stacks I saved just by not forcing things when the vibe was off.

Yeah, folding pre and just watching the flow for a few orbits has saved me from so many dumb spots. That patience bit really is the whole game sometimes.

That "adapting to the table" point is everything, fr. I used to just play my cards and wonder why I kept losing, now I actually watch how the table flows before making moves.

fr, the post-tough session reflection is where the real growth happens — it's easy to feel tilted but those are the moments that stick with you and actually make you better next time

bro slow play is teh goat, saved me from my own tilt so many times lol ?

I get the patience angle but sometimes you just gotta trust your gut and move quick, especially against really aggressive players who punish any hesitation. Thinking too long can be a tell in itself and some tables reward speed just as much as caution.

Taking notes on bet sizing tels helps a ton.

Yep, sometimes folding feels like a loss but it's actualy a win if it saves you from a worse spot later on. That quiet discipline keeps the bankroll intact more than any flashy play does.

Folding pocket jacks preflop saved me last night

I found that muting the table sound effetcs makes me way less impulsive, lets me think clearer instead of reacting to the noise.

my biggest leaks always came from trying to force action when the table was dead quiet. learning to just wait and fold more preflop changed everything for me honestly

When I catch myself speed clicking I literally count to 3 before any big river decision, sved me from a punt more times than I can count lol

Do you ever track how many hands you fold preflop just to see if the patience actually translates to better results later in the session?
